Four New Characters Join Marvel Vs Capcom 3!

Two Marvel and two Capcom playable characters have now been announced as being in the game! Hit the jump for pictures and a new trailer...

Deadpool, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America, and Iron Man from the Marvel side, and Dante, Ryu, Morrigan, Felicia and Chris Redfield from Capcom have already been confirmed as playable characters in the upcoming fighting game but four more brawlers have now been added to that roster!

MARVEL

Doctor Doom

Victor Von Doom is the monarch of Latveria and the eternal nemesis of the Fantastic Four.

Super Skrull

Chun Li

this list appeared in coded form on the official website. its a leaked version of the final list of characters. so far its all been right. I just hope Taskmaster is right, i would love for him to be in it. also, Multi posted this list a couple months back, and people basically said it was BS. i hope a lot of people are ready to eat their shoes.

I'm excited about SuperSkrull, I've not been able to use him in any of the previous iterations. Doom? Meh. Chun Li? Meh. Both are badass in their own right ("the right player on the joystick" and all...), but aren't anything new. Trish? I'm interested to see what she'll play like (maybe, like Cammy? I'd Hadouken that!)...but not as excited as having the Merc-With-The-Mouth being added to the roster.


Couple that with the info about each of the characters interacting with one another differently, and I'm interested to see what Wadey will have to say.

As for the game, this really isnt my sort of thing but I might give it a go just for the great cast of Marvel characters if nothing else! Wish it was DC they were facing off against rather than Capcom though, lol! Now that would be a game I'd rush out to buy! :P

Contrary to MvsC2, they aren't winning me over with a land slide here. They have left out many characters that i thoroughly enjoyed playing with. Where is Omega Red? Where's Sentinel? WHERE THE [frick] IS GUILE,CHARLIE AND CAMMY?!?!?!?!?! My army team is no more... *sob* :((

No Ken? A Trish that plays exactly like Morrigan? No Dimitri??? Man they don't know what the [frick] their doing!!! SNK vs Capcom2 was three times the game this is!!!

tela- IMO, that would suck. None of the characters in Tekken are as epic as Capcom's or SNK's. But that's just my opinion.

Tela- Yeah, i'd go for the Capcom version too. Namco can suck it LOL But you're right, it will make buttloads of money!

And yeah, Trish has the exact same style as Morrigan! She looks just as stiff and hovers in the same way. I really don't see the point. I'm really dissapointed in a lot of things i am seeing with this game. With their technology, they could have made the characters look a lot better. Wolvie has a mile wide shit eatin' grin and Hulk looks retarded. Deadpool and Dante are probably the best looking ones yet. Oh and Super Skrull is a great addition while looking pretty cool too. But that's about it. Chun-Li is just bleh to me. She's always been a lackluster of a character since her inception. The Alpha version of her was the best one and they've canned it. I really don't know what they're thinking with this game. They could have given us Final FIght and Street Fighter 3 characters too. Hagar is the same as Zangief! Where's Guy? Maki? Carlos???

CDB- Saying no to the FF but yes to Super Skrull is kinda retarded to me. But from everything else i've seen of this yet, they are clearly not thinking straight. It all feels so limited compared to the last game. Ah well... we'll see.

You can't bring up "old school" fighting games without bringing up PowerStone for Dreamcast!!!

Probably one of the MOST FUN fighting games ever....4-player battle royal = EPIC!


Oh yea, calling Tekken a button mashing game is EXTREMELY ignorant. The moveset for that game is VERY deep.

all i'm saying, is when i play people in MvC2 online, if they can't do air combos, they get their asses kicked. plain and simple. but i kinda know what you mean, because a lot of people sit in the corner and just hit assist over and over again, but you have cheap people playing any video game.

also, i'm with you man, fighting games have been my best genre since i was a little kid. i was never very good at the street fighter games, but MK, killer instinct, and the soul calibur series kick ass.

i don't know man. it just has less characters, but its not a big deal to me. half the characters in MvC2 were stupid anyway. two wolverines? Amingo? Anakaris. Servbot. that chick that threw monkeys. there were just a LOT of characters in it that were pointless and no one ever used anyway.

I just wish they would do something about the assists. you shouldn't be able to do assists whenever you want, however many times you want. when you play online, too many people pick powerhouses like Cable or Sentinel, and then sit in the corner and do their assists over and over again. it forces the other person to block or take full damage, but when you block it does block damage. so they sit there and chip away at you, and there's nothing you can do about it. thats cheap as hell. if people don't want to play the game, then they should play something else.

they need to limit the amount of times you can do assists.
