If you didn't know Jessica Jones' teenage life, then wait 'till you find out where she went to school...

Midtown High student, Jessica Campbell was in a car with her family when they collided with a truck full of radioactive chemicals (You know, the usual super-hero origin story). Her family died in the incident, but she managed to survive, only to be in coma. After several months, she awoke and was adopted by the Jones family.

BUT DID YOU KNOW...
She was classmates with Peter Parker?!?
It's a small world after all...
That's right, kiddos. Jessica Campbell (Jones after she was adopted) was classmates with Pete and Flash. After her coma, she went back to good ol' Midtown High (the school for all Spider-related heroes), where she was kind of a wallflower. In school, she was infamously called...
"Coma Girl," before adopting the moniker, Jewel. Every hero went through that phase. Captain America as Steroid Muncher, Arrow was called the Hood, and goddamn Superman was stupidly called "Blur" (non-canonically, of course).

BUT, it ain't just that! Jessica had a HUGE crush on Petey. As in, faps to the sound of his voice-kind of crush.
That's right... Luke's pissed now.
So what does this mean? Will Marvel show her origin story? Does that mean we'll see Spidey references? In the comics, Spidey doesn't actually tell his identity (this comic took place after he went to see Mephisto in that horrible arc story).

Marvel's A.K.A. JESSICA JONES picks up AFTER she retires from becoming a superhero, so yeah. Netflix's also has a Luke Cage (Jessica's beu in the comics) series coming soon; will they already have an established relationship? We'll just have to wait and see...

Following a tragic end to her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private eye, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City
