Possible SPOILERS: Has The Identity Of Marvel's New HULK Been Revealed?

The other day Marvel announced that they would debut an all-new, all-different Incredible Hulk after their Secret Wars event, and since then the rumor mill has smashed into overdrive. Talking Comic Books has it on good authority that the new Hulk is... well, someone you won't expect!

We were told that the character chosen to be the new Hulk would cause a bit of controversy, and if the following is true then that may be an understatement. Many guessed that since Jane Foster now wields the hammer of Thor, that it might be Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk that'd take up the mantle of the Green Goliath, and Bleeding Cool got a reader's tip that it'd be the psychopathic Ultimate version of Reed Richards, but Talking Comic Books claims to have the answer. According to them the new Hulk will be none other than Amadeus Cho.

This super-genius, also known as Mastermind Excello, is said to be the seventh (or eight, or tenth, depending on who you ask) most intelligent character in the Marvel Universe, and has been an ally of The Hulk's for years. He was co-created by Greg Pak, who is believed to be heading up the new book along with Frank Cho. The site also reports that "Bruce Banner will be separated from the Hulk persona, but will still remain a part of the universe."

Obviously we don't know for certain if this is true or not, but chances are we'll find out soon enough one way or the other. Thoughts?

If true, [frick]ing stupid.

Just so we're clear, I've been open to some of the changes Marvel has announced lately for this new MCU (Marvel Comics Universe).

But this not only seems random as [frick] but dumb as [frick].

Banner won't be the Hulk and someone else gets to? Can't image what dumb[frick] convent plot Marvel has up their sleeves where we learn that Banner was never fully separated from the Hulk and the Hulk is still in him in about 6-8 months from now.

I thought Banner can't survive without the Hulk half and vice-versa.

wtf is this?

Part of me does feel though I should give it a chance because Greg Pak is a great writer.

His Action Comics New 52 run has been the best Superman run since Johns's Action. Even with fans hating the new Superman look which Pak came out with, Action Comics #41 was still praised.

So I can see him killing this but as for now it's a rumor.

Banner will be Ironman then? Like rumored. Dont care that someone else is hulk but if Banner is Ironman thats just silly. Bet they will do a thing where the only way for Banner to live without hulk is to wear the Ironman suit. *rolls eyes* to easy. Try harder marvel!

Don't worry, guys. If Marvel is indeed heading in this direction, they'll be bankrupt in a few years and sell all of their rights to Fox.

i was ok with most of the other changes but this is weird, so will it be some alternate reality cho where he became the hulk instead of banner? if so what happened to doc green.

i read earlier it was confirmed tony stark is iron man in the new marvel and rom the way bendis talked there might be some new villians for iron man.

LordHuck- why shouldn't the Hulk look like that? She Hulk has always been drawn as attractive rather than a monster like the Hulk. Why couldn't Cho be attractive as well?
