If you are like me, you have always wanted to see Professor X flex his mental muscles and take charge instead of sitting diplomatically and waiting to get trumped by some evil plan.

Enter the Marvel Superstars Trading Card Game. If you can get the Professor X Charismatic card to go off against an opponent, the wise old leader of the X-Men will brainwash their character and force it to fight for you.

Sweet.

The card shown above is the latest in a month full of preview cards being released by Upper Deck on their PlayMarvel.com website. The other two might get you wet.

Storm is another one I would have loved to see getting buck wild in the movies. In this game she will be allowed to blow away her enemies for the low cost of 3 charge counters. Or, if you draw into her Action card, only 3 resources.

The article in the source link, by Ben Stoll and Dan Scheidegger, is tight work. It explains several nuances of the game that will make deckbuilding and superhero swinging more fun than ever before.

Game on!

Because I disagree with your opinion. I am very excited about this game and I will be playing a lot of it when it is released.
