Marvel's comic book sales have been declining for a while now and while the Marvel Legacy initiative helped with that, there's still some work to do (just look at how many titles have been cancelled in recent weeks). Well, as you can see below, the publisher has announced today that the Marvel Universe is being overhauled for a fresh start and it's clearly going to go back to basics as a result.

Among the various changes on the way - most of which
we're being kept in the dark about at the moment - is a new Avengers title coming in May (just in time for Avengers: Infinity War) which assembles a very impressive roster of heroes, including Black Panther. Jason Aaron will be on writing duties, while Ed McGuinness is providing the artwork so this promises to be a great looking book.

Avengers will reportedly ship 18 books a year, streamlining the range and doing away with companion titles like New Avengers, Secret Avengers, and Uncanny Avengers. This title is also going to feature the Avengers of 10,000 BC, so that should be interesting to watch play out. How do you guys feel about this "overhaul"? Share your thoughts below and stay tuned for
further update on the relaunch.

I find it so weird that Marvel dominates with their movies but that does translate to their comics.......but DC is the opposite!
