Soon, the Jade Giant will be "immortal no more." Later this month, the Hulk returns in an all-new ongoing series by acclaimed writer Donny Cates, known for his revolutionary work on Venom and Thor, and superstar artist Ryan Ottley of Amazing Spider-Man and Invincible fame.

This bold new Hulk saga begins when Bruce Banner discovers a radical way to control the monster within. Could this mark the final end of the Green Goliath? Or will the extreme solution create something new...with massive consequences? Marvel Comics says we should prepare to dive deep into the very core of Hulk’s rage in this series exploring the iconic character’s incredible - and destructive - legacy in a way no one has dared to before.

A first look at Hulk #1 has been revealed in a new trailer featuring never-before-seen artwork.

"Marvel just gave me the keys to the strongest one there is," Cates said. "Oh boy. You guys are just not ready for this. You’re about to find out what happens when Ryan Ottley and I get angry and guess what? Well... pretty sure you’re gonna like us a lot when we’re angry."

Marvel Comics has been trying for years to find a formula for the Hulk that works on the page, and Immortal Hulk was definitely an enjoyable departure. This series does appear to be going back to basics, but not in a bad way, and it should be fun to delve into another classic Bruce Banner/Hulk storyline. Plus, with a creative team like Cates and Ottley, we're gonna have to pick this one up.

Hulk #1 arrives on November 24. Check out the sneak peek below and stay tuned for updates!

Immortal Hulk was the best thing Marvel put on shelves for a while, besides Moon Knight and Daredevil. Hope Cates run can at least match it

@Kurban - Yeah, that's kinda cringe. If you wanna make that point that's not the place or even the book to do it.

Interesting that they give Cates another big IP. He’s at his best when he’s reinventing characters like he did Venom. I personally think they should give him a Cloak and dagger series, they haven’t done much with those characters recently

I just picked the most recent article to say this:

Why does a site called Comic Book Movie . Com not cover Titans or Doom Patrol, like, at all? I never see articles about these shows. No reviews. No scoops. Barely a mention. But I see articles about all of the CW shows, all the Marvel shows and movies, and things completely unrelated to comics like Dune. Wtf?! Both shows are great despite some obvious flaws and deserve a lot more attention.
