It obvious that Flashpoint Paradox is going to happen in some fashion especially since the Last Few Episodes have been hinting at it. Flashpoint is a story that is going to be very hard to adapt to TV because of how many charcters there are that appear in that story and most of them consisting of the DC Universe's Top Tiers which sadly CW are not allowed to use so here is the question. How do you adapt a story like Flashpoint to the big screen. Well here are a couple of ideas i have
The Series:
I suspect Flashpoint will not last the entire series but be a 5 episode mini series. I think 5 episodes is perfect as it allows the veiwer to get to know this new world and all the pepole to live in it but not too long to keep the audience from getting bored.
Main Charcter: The Flash
This one should be the obvious one. It is clear that Flashpoint both the Comic and the Movie was focused on the Flash and his internal struggle and his desperation to get back to his own time. This should be the case with the CW Version. The Flash wants to find the one he thinks is responsible for this alternate future..the Reverse Flash. However, i don't think he should be alone with it comes to this miniseries.
Supporting Cast:
Who is going to replace Thomas Wayne's Batman?
CW are not allowed to use Batman under any circumstances which is a true shame as i would like to see Thomas's Wayne as Batman on the small screen. However, i think the gruff vilgatante who has lost everything and now has no remorse for killing could be used well to complement Barry Allen and i think Joe West should have that role. Due to his wife and daughter dying Joe left the Police Force and has nothing left so he takes on the idenity of the Grifter as a lone anti-hero killing criminals until he meets Barry. While reluctant at first the two decide to aid each other.
Rip Hunter/The Traveller:
This is another obvious one. Since the story is about time travel that i suspect Rip will be involved. I could see him wanting to kill Barry after he has messed up the time line but after realizing that the Reverse Flash is somwhat responsible decides that Barry needs to go and change the future so he works with Joe and Barry to hunt down the Reverse Flash
Killer Frost/Caltin Snow:
In this world, Caltin Snow became Killer Frost but now leads her own serperate force of ice powered metahumans against the two main factions. She is much colder and ruthless able to use her ice powers to kill anyone not loyal to her cause. She only agrres to ally with the Resistance in order to rid the world of the two main factions. Leonard Snart is one of her allies along with the Weather Wizard.
The Three Factions: There are three main factoins that fight in this world.
The League of Assassins:
Leader: Oliver Queen
In this alternate continiuty. Ras Ah Ghul killed Oliver's Parents and adopted the child as his own. Oliver grew up as a deadly assassin as Ras Ah Ghul's son/student easily able to surpass his other students. When he was 18 he challenged Ras Ah Ghul to a duel and won. He then killed him and took over as the leader of the League of Assassins. Nyssa Ah Ghul, Sara Lance, Roy Harper and Laurel Lance later became assassins for the order. Eventually they would clash with the Order of St Dumas who beleived that the League of Assassins were a perversion of everything the Order stood for and thus went to war with them.
The Order of St Dumas:
Leader: Jean-Paul Valley Jr
This is an order that was created during the time of Crusaders. Extremely Racist and hateful to other religon they went about exterminating those who did not follow their code as they beleived they were inferior to the Order. The group has been infulencing the world in order to prefect the one true race. Due to their idelogy they immeditaly took a disliking to the League of Shadows and would later fight against them for the right to exist. The Leader of the Order is Jean-Paul Valley Jr.
The Resistance:
Leader: Ray Palmer/The Atom
The Resistance are the group that fight against both factions. The Leader of the Resistance is Ray Palmer aka the Atom who has become the hero of the world. His allies include John Diggle who is the Arrow. Felictk Smoak who is Palmer's wife. Cisco Romain who has become the superhero known as Vibe. Later Firestorm joins the Resistance after he is rescueded from the Order of St Dumas who have taken over goveremnt facilties and are experinmenting on Metahumans.
Main Villain:
The Reverse Flash. Like the Flashpoint Comic and Movie. Harrision Wells/Eobhard Thwane is the main villain of the mini-series. He is not seen much until the final battle but he is always there making sure Barry losses and dies not being able to change the time line. The Reverse Flash and the Flash have a final shodown and Reverse Flash is about to win but Joe stabs the Reverse Flash and then decpates him but just before the Reverse Flash uses his power to critically injure Joe.
The World:
The World is very messed up as the goverment is gone and there is no peace as the two factions fight for control of Amercia. Morality has become questionable and killing is seen as the only option to survive in this new world. Firestorm's powers grow stronger and stronger until he exploades and everything is wiped out. However, Flash travells back in time and prevents the Flash from changing fate
