Gerard Way who created the comic Umbrella Academy spoke to Total Film about the status of the film version where he said how things are still happening behind the scenes.
"Every once in a while there's a burst of movement," says Way. "It's just a matter of waiting for [Universal Pictures] to take the risk on it."
I, for one, would quite like to see this happen in the near future. Imagine what Pogo the Chimp would look like on the big screen!
