Come see me, Nexthero08, this April 4th, 5th and 6th for your inside look at the Wizard World St. Louis event at the America's Center, right here in the STL. If you've never been to Wizard World, or even know what is it, here is a look at last years event and at what's in store this year.
Cosplay! Cosplay! Cosplay!
Nerds, geeks, and all around pop culture fans flock to Wizard World for an opportunity to show their creativity to the world and walk among like minded individuals. Doesn't matter if your Ewok, Kryptonian, or spend your days traveling through time in a phone booth, this is where you want to be.
Celebrity Guests and memorabilia!
One of the biggest draws to this amazing event would be, of course, the celebrity guests. Last year, we were honored to have had the likes of Henry Winkler (Happy Days, The Water Boy), Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars, Batman), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), James Marsters (Buffy, Angel, Dragonball Evolution), Stan "The Man" Lee and many more.
This year, we're being taken to a whole other level of awesome with appearances from The Captain himself William Shatner, THE Dynamic Duo with TV's Adam West and Burt Ward, WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and "Arrow" star Manu Bennett, just to name a few.
This is just half the excitement. Your favorite celebs will also be signing autographs! Get up close and personal with the stars and have them sign your memorabilia. Don't have anything to bring? Don't worry, there will be tons of booths to explore that will certainly be selling items you will want to get signed. Posters, shirts, toys, comic books and more ready to be taken home to show off to your friends (don't forget to brag a little).
Honored by our Artists!
Then there is the heart and soul of any comic convention, the comic book artists themselves. Yes, you get to meet the pencilers, inkers, writers and editors of thousands of graphic novels and weekly comics. Appearing at the convention will be Eisner Award winners Chris Samnee and Neal Adams, along with special guests Greg Capullo, Carl Pagulayan and many, many more!
If your still not excited to see this fantastic event, then come out the weekend of April 4th and see it for yourself! Or, just keep checking with ya boy, Nexthero08, and I'll keep you updated on what's going on at Wizard World St. Louis!
