Daredevil stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have both made their respective MCU debuts, and are set to return for the planned Disney+ Daredevil: Born Again series. But what about the now defunct Netflix show's supporting cast?
Rumors have done the rounds that Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) might be set to reprise their roles, but the latter has now cast some doubt on her potential return as Matt Murdock's colleague/love-interest.
While chatting to Smallville alum Michael Rosenbaum on the latest episode of his Inside of You podcast, Woll revealed that she still hasn't been contacted about Born Again.
"I can say this: they have not called me yet. So as of now, I am not a part of it. I would be thrilled to get to be a part of it. They know where I am. Like I said, I love the character Karen Page. I love telling that story. I feel like I have more to say. But it is up to them what kind of story that they want to tell."
Recent reports have indicated that production is scheduled to commence early next year, so if Marvel Studios was planning to reach out to Woll, they almost certainly would have done so by now.
Page played a significant role in the Netflix series over the course of three seasons, and is an integral part of The Man Without Fear's mythos. She also has an important role in the Born Again comic, but we already know that the Disney+ show is not being developed as a direct adaptation.
Official Born Again plot details are still a mystery, but some recent character breakdowns did give us an idea of what to expect from the show's new faces.
