DC Films Shakeups Continue As Chantal Nong Lands Key Production Role; Here's What's Next On The Studio's Slate

Last month, Walter Hamada was hired as the President of Warner Bros.' DC Films division and the shakeups behind the scenes continue. It's been confirmed today that Chantal Nong has been named Vice President of production at the studio and she will be working on the development and production management of the DC Films slate (some guidance is much-needed for the comic book adaptations).

Aquaman is the sole DC movie set for release in 2018 and Shazam is the only one currently in production. However, Wonder Woman 2 is reportedly next to start shooting and is heading into the casting stages. However, insiders tell the trade that the next wave of DC Films will include Flashpoint and Batgirl so
here's hoping we hear something official soon. We probably won't see them for a while!

Nong has been part of Warner Bros. since 2011 and recently oversaw the remake of A Star is Born. She's also worked on blockbusters like 300: Rise of an Empire and Godzilla. How do you feel about the way the DC Films Universe is shaping up? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts down below.
