James Gunn Is Expected To Share Official DCU Updates Tomorrow - But What Will Be Announced?

Though nothing has been made official, James Gunn is expected to share a few updates on his plans for the DCU at some point tomorrow. Will a full slate be announced? Here's what we've heard...

James Gunn has previously indicated that fans would finally learn more about his and fellow DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran's plans for the DCU before the end of January, and tomorrow is the 31st!

The Suicide Squad director dropped a big hint that announcements would be coming at some point on Tuesday via a Twitter interaction yesterday evening, and we now have a few updates to share.

From what we can gather, a press event is being held (or already has) tonight to give the major trades a heads-up about what's coming tomorrow. This could suggest that the details will be shared in separate reports throughout the day, but what exactly can we expect?

Well, probably not very much!

While Gunn and Safran have been busy making plans for the past few months, we'd be very surprised if a full slate was ready to be unveiled. Though nobody knows for sure what's on the agenda, several insiders believe just a few projects will be announced, and we should also get official confirmation about the status of the "old guard" as the new DCU begins to stake shape (although Dave Bautista seemingly let the cat out of the bag a little early).

This is mostly just speculation and our best guess based on what we've heard from several sources (we're not even certain that an announcement is coming tomorrow), but we should know more very soon.

In the meantime, let us know what you think/hope will be announced in the comments down below.
