PantherKing - 9/29/2017, 2:14 PM
Please tell me someone who drunk when they decided to do this
Nightwing1015 - 9/29/2017, 2:19 PM
Good. I always thought it was a stupid name. What would the universe be extending? The comics?
Nightwing1015 - 9/29/2017, 2:20 PM
The wikia will have to change it's name now. It should just be called the DC Cinematic Universe. The DCCU.
JoshBerger - 9/29/2017, 2:20 PM
"The lesson: never make a joke, because no one gets jokes"

BIGBMH - 9/29/2017, 2:21 PM
Well that explains why it's such a bad name
noahthegrand - 9/29/2017, 2:21 PM
Well they keep making extended cuts so...
ODanil - 9/29/2017, 2:22 PM
I hate the E in it, just say DCU.
johnnymarr - 9/29/2017, 2:23 PM
Whatever. I think they have more pressing things on their minds to think about.
NotoriousWolf23 - 9/29/2017, 2:27 PM
The DC "We don't know what the [frick], see if it sticks universe". should be the offical name.
TheBeard - 9/29/2017, 2:30 PM

WB: The lesson: never make a joke, because no one gets jokes

WB: Let's hire Zack Snyder to make a Superman Movie.
Spock0Clock - 9/29/2017, 2:34 PM
Maybe Justice League really is that bad.

Why else would the studio so clearly be throwing up as much dust about the shared universe stuff? Everything they've done in the last few months has been "Remember Wonder Woman was good, but don't worry, not everything has to be connected to Justice League."

(Also, lol at all the people who have been carrying water for these guys for so long. Heads up: You care more about this stuff than they do.)
Forthas - 9/29/2017, 2:34 PM
Now they tell us!
MUTO123 - 9/29/2017, 2:41 PM
Is anybody else having problems with the comments section today?
ElJefe - 9/29/2017, 2:43 PM
Oh come on!!

TheBeard - 9/29/2017, 2:44 PM
CBM.com is hiring, but how much does CBM pay?
TheUnworthyThor - 9/29/2017, 2:49 PM
It's always been the DCFU to me.
sKeemAn - 9/29/2017, 2:50 PM
sKeemAn - 9/29/2017, 2:52 PM
This is so confusing. I guess they are rebooting the DCU, in a way.
Kevwebsz - 9/29/2017, 2:52 PM
You're right. It is a joke.
ElJefe - 9/29/2017, 2:52 PM
So the WB DC movies will be like the new CBM.com comments section?

All standalones with no connectivity.

Spock0Clock - 9/29/2017, 2:54 PM
he article itself is gold.

“Our intention, certainly, moving forward is using the continuity to help make sure nothing is diverging in a way that doesn’t make sense, but there’s no insistence upon an overall story line or interconnectivity in that universe,” says Nelson, drawing nods from the top brass around her.

"So... basically what Marvel does," Spock0Clock says
(Drawing nods from the top brass around him.)

One of the centerpieces of this new, decentralized strategy is an as-yet-unnamed side label of occasional movies that are completely separate from everything else, set entirely outside the cinematic universe.

So... a new centerpiece is the side-label.

TheRealMandarin - 9/29/2017, 2:55 PM
Thank God can we please go back to calling it the DCCU now.
Pedrito - 9/29/2017, 2:56 PM
Is the DCFU also a joke then?
