@MrCamw1 - I'm kinda amazed that isn't talked about more. Especially in this cancel culture. You'd think that would be used against Gunn especially when he was being fired.

@Origame - sure, it is out there. But having just read and watched The Girl Next Door there is much worse stuff out there to be worried about.

@MrCamw1 - oh I know there is. But it's not that small of a movie (it's still a superhero movie when that's popular with a very well known cast). It's also a James Gunn project, which probably would've been fuel to the fire when his scandal came to focus. And on top of that they don't really vilify that instance, which trivializes the topic, which is sexual assault.

@Origame - I can't argue any of that. I enjoy the movie as a whole but I could see why it would/ should have been fuel to the fire.

You could argue that the Deadpool is the closest CBMs have got to a love story. He's not trying to save the world or anything like that, just wants to be with his girlfriend by curing his cancer and then fix his face for her. Everything else in the movie is related to these goals. All other movies in this list have romance as an element in the movie but it's not the main thing about it. Plus, even though Avengers:Endgame is my favorite CBM, it shouldn't be on this list to be fair, that last scene is probably not even a minute long.

@Urubrodi - I can't argue.. I definitely cheated a bit with the definition of "romantic movie," a lot of them just have romantic elements.
