Wade Wilson has teamed up with quite a few different characters in the comics over the years, and almost every single one of them has regretted it to some extent!
In Marvel Studios' upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine, director Shawn Levy wisely chose to tap in to the Odd Couple energy that comes with the Merc With a Mouth and Logan joining forces, but there is another Marvel superhero the filmmaker would love to see Wade encounter on the big screen at some point.
"The thing about Deadpool is I think he makes everything more interesting because of his audacity," Levy tells Games Radar. "But, boy, I'd sure love to see Deadpool and Spidey. That's a movie I'd love to make. I feel like Tom Holland would run circles around everyone else."
If D&W is a success (and box office tracking is looking pretty good), Levy might well get the opportunity to make a Deadpool and Spider-Man movie, although Disney may be a little less willing to throw Holland's take on Peter Parker into an R-rated adventure!
Producer Wendy Jacobson was also asked who she'd most like to see Deadpool team-up with, and somewhat randomly, chose She-Hulk: Attorney at Law villain Titania (Jameela Jamil).
"She's such a heightened, hilarious character and also an actor who can improv and is razor-sharp and can banter," she explained. "I can't imagine being an actor, period, but I can't imagine having to work opposite someone like Ryan Reynolds, who is just so quick and so smart and so funny all the time – but that woman could handle it."

The MPAA recently gave the movie an official R-rating for: "Strong bloody violence and language throughout, gore, and sexual references."
“Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date - Deadpool & Wolverine," reads the new synopsis. "A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier... reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to - F*ck. Synopses are so f*cking stupid.”
In addition to Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the title roles, Deadpool and Wolverine will see Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Rob Delaney (Peter), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead) And Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio) return as their respective characters, and they'll be joined by franchise newcomers Emma Corrin (The Crown) and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession), who will play a TV agent and Charles Xavier's evil counterpart, Cassandra Nova.
Shawn Levy directs Deadpool and Wolverine from a script by Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells.
The movie is set to open in U.S. & Canadian theaters on July 26, and will be available in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD and premium screens everywhere.
