Coinciding with this weeks release of Deadpool #49.1, which sees the 'Merc with a Mouth'singing his way through the entire issue, we have Deadpool editor Jordan D. White taking things to the next level with an actual musical recording. Take a listen!

Deadpool, the Musical! by Jordan D. White

White himself plays all the instruments and provides the vocals except for the last track which sees actual Deadpool series writer, Daniel Way playing electric guitar and bass.

Said White, "This song is not endorsed by or affiliated with Marvel--I did this all on my own time, for no money whatsoever, and I am letting you hear it and have it for completely free. There's a download button up there, feel free to save it and listen to it over and over again! That being said, it is based on a comic both Dan and I worked hard on, so we'd sure appreciate it if you'd swing by the comic shop and pick up a copy."

Starts out ok but gets worse as it goes along, kind of like the Green Lantern movie.

7 month old reference burn!

Danzig reference in Uncanny X-Force a few months back, and now one of my favorite misfits songs (though butchered) makes my groin wet....

I would love to see a play/ musical about Deadpool. Let Rick Remender write it, and get the Red Hot Chili Peppers to do the music parts. It would be a funky trippy rock opera.

song choice definitely wasn't all there.. but performance and execution was on point. should've added some gun shots in it tho.. maybe lettin an AK get loose with a hundred-round drum! that would've been sweet
