New Light Shed On The Typhoid Mary Rumor

Ror posted last week the rumor that Katee Sackhoff was buying up all the Typhoid Mary comics in hopes of landing the proposed Typhoid Mary role in a Daredevil reboot. It looks like she will appear in a upcoming Comic Book Movie but it wont be a Daredevil reboot.

"Thanks to MutantNinjaLoungeSinger for following up on the recent Katee Sackhoff as Typhoid rumor. MNLS points out that, while the character originated with and is strongly linked to 'Daredevil', she's also recently been a sidekick of sorts to 'Deadpool'. Furthermore she's shown up in disguise as recent "black ops" member of 'The Avengers'.

We know 20th Century Fox likely holds the film rights for the character as they previously utilized her in 'Elektra', so it seems less likely she'd appear in the 'Avengers' flick. Fox seems hot-to-trot on 'Deadpool' after the buzz he created in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' so that could be a very real possibility."

I would rather see her in a Deadpool movie first. Hopefully they get the charecter right and take time to properly put her in the rebooted Daredevil movie. Deadpool is on the fast track with no plans of slowing down for something that MIGHT do well at the box office such as a Daredevil reboot.

Maybe they're using current Marvel continuity, and making Deadpool's main antagonists the recent incarnation of the "Black-Ops" Thunderbolts. Wasn't she running around as Mutant Zero with Taskmaster, Constrictor, and the like?

i think keanu reeves is perfect if they put Daken in the next wolverine movie...im only sayin this cuz im a MASSIVE daken fan and if they are puttin wolvie in japan this could b a good ending for the film..so after daken is cut from his mothers womb you see it skip to the future and wolvie is walking down a dark alleyway and u see daken infront of him..glaring with anger..then the view of his dark bone claws poping out then cut...credits then roll up...keanu reeves is also part white part oriental so i say PUT DAKEN IN!!! even if iz just th end

yea i was sayin hav in the 2nd one wolvie falling in love and his wife being pregnant and at the end of the movie have the scene of daken being cut from the belly of the monther and then skip ahead to the future of a quick cameo of keanu reeves which leaves an opening for a 3rd

I used reeves cuz itz more realistic to have him as he is of Oriental/white race which makes more sense then having a white guy or a japanease guy playing him..i dunno i think he can do it but sayin that i would love to see how he can pull off an angry stoic character..it'll be fun to see i kno that!!

@KeepitReal@ she played Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica and she did a really good job I didn't care for her character in the show too much i found her annoying but she did a good job at acting it was just her char that bothered me.

@mutantJ@ oh ok i guess that is ok, I don't know a lot about Daken anyways I was out of the comic loop for along time after we lost out comic shop.

I like Daken alot, but this is just wrong, keanu reeves is getting way to old and is ugly as hell. I really hate how the next movie is going to be in japan, yet he already has his adamantium claws, and what is he going to lose his memory again...

If they ever go the "daken" route, they'll use a teen. Not a full grown man that's even older than Hugh Jackman. Hell, knowing FOX, they won't even use Daken, they'll use X-23 and say she's his daughter. They'll screw it up, one way or another.

YEAH, she was pretty irritating in Battlestar. Luckily there are enough characters to change it up and not stay on her for too long. I think that is the natural way she acts so she going to bring an irritating Typhoid.

I read the issues where she hires Deadpool to kill her, well one of her personalitie's did, while another personality hired him to break her out of a Weapons Plus project(I think it was a Weapons Plus) Add the fact that she is a mutant, and it definitely seems like they are going to stick her in the DP flic. I would like to see her in a DD film though, as a mutant she could provide a nice link between 2 parts of the Marvel U in film.

Daken is a shitty character. I stopped buying Wolverine because of this craptastic character. He is nothing more than a poor attempt to capitalize on the success of X-23. I would like nothing more than to see the Sentry throw his sorry ass into the sun to insure we never see him again. I hate the concept of Daken that much.
