YESSSS!!!

-Days of Future Past
-X-Force
-Deadpool
-Possible Sequel to Day's of Future Past
-Possible Weapon X Movie (Seeing that Wolverine has his bone claws in Days of Future Past and that we now have a much younger William Stryker)

I'm surprised that no one isn't really excited about where Days of Future Past can go after the film debuts.

You have Apocalypse, Mr.Sinister (good way to reintroduce young Scott and Jean Grey)shadow King (Storm)

There's also so many X-Men you can introduce even though the next film may take place within the 80's...

-Gambit
-Beast
-Storm
-Cyclops
-Jean
-Colossus
-Nightcrawler
-Wolverine (only depending on if his conscious isn't teleported to another timeline if the assassination is prevented from happening in DofP)

If the give us a better costume, a great script, and a goddamn good origin, then okay.

At first I thought the title of the article was about to say "Green Lantern" instead of "Green Light" lol.

I say, if they do a sequel to days of future past it should be mister sinister and the horseman, good way to bring angel and gambit back, as well as make wolverine a villain and not the main protagonist. then if that does well, follow up with apocalypse

DOFP is more of a sequel to First Class than a separate X-Men franchise

@THeBlackNerd Yeaa..idk bout all that. Fox's continuity of their X-universe is waaaaaaaaayyyy too muddled for them to be able to have a lot of these characters on the screen at the same time without making the other movies make no sense...unless....only thing i can think of is that Prof X wipes everyones mind at they end so they don't remember that they even met. But that would also just make it really weird for the viewers. Plus it can't work to have grown versions of some characters in one timeline since in the same timeline there would be baby versions of other characters. This is what i think was the main reason they did DOFP, so that they could use time travel to throw some of these characters together all at once and explore different timelines but honestly...XM3 really [frick]ed shit up. Fox really should've started from scratch with First Class....another missed opportunity. I bet they would've had no problem doing that either until Brian Singer stuck his neck out and was like no i wanna do another movie with my buddies from the old ones. Politics over practicality. From what i have seen from Brian Singer and how he does things, he moves more off emotion than logic. I really hope that he can clear up some cobwebs with this movie cuz its do or die for fox and the x-universe imo.

I say lets do it.

Honestly, an X-Force movie in the vain of Remender and Opena's run would be outstanding.

Have it placed after DOFP, and I could see it doing really well. Recast Jackman and set forth a Wolverine led team of killers.

I actually liked Ryan Reynolds as Hal, and think hed be perfect for deadpool. But It feels like Bad luck follows him. Every movie hes been in has sucked, from Blade Trinity, X-Men Origins, to Green Lantern.

Why doesn't Disney/Marvel just break production company's contracts with a huge buyout? God knows they have enough money to get all the buy backs.. Plus the money they'd make from having all their characters back? It'd be an even bigger payoff.

With all their characters, they'd be able to monopolize the Superhero movie genre.... Even if Justice League ever does get made, DC isn't as far along as Marvel is.

Just pay them off and get FF back, so Fox can't make another horrible FF movie. Hell, they already have Daredevil again.

After DOFP buy back X-Men and the mutants.
After another Spider-Man trilogy, buy Spidey back.

I'd love to see what Marvel would be able to do with Spider-Man. Shoot, keep Andrew too, he's a good Spider-Man.
RedandBlue
RedandBlue - 10/31/2013, 3:22 PM
And Sony doing a four part Spider-Man movie? That's just retarded. I enjoyed TASM, but I know it could've been better, and they've already slated two more movies for him and the sequel to the first isn't even out?

Sony just knows he's a cash cow.

I read the leaked script, I'm pissed that it was revised because that was one of the greatest things I've ever read. I thought Reynolds was good as Pool in the beginning of origins, I wouldn't mind him coming back.

Maybe they'll make it after X-Force, because the odds are that Deadpool will be on that team.

Is there anyway to find the script online still?

I would love a read...

Man ohhh man!! I love that idea! I guess the only way oit would honestly work is if they bring the Apocalypse to the future (just realized what I said *facepalm* duhhh lol) But yeah hopefully the actor who played angel will return. And speaking of actors that played angel...

Remember the child who played kid Angel in X3, well look at em now! He could definitely play the character now!

ItsATrap
ItsATrap - 10/31/2013, 3:28 PM
@Bread - I also read the script. It really isn't that great. Sure it's fun and it really "gets" the character, but there's really no feeling or heart or any sort of depth to it at all.
But maybe that's what they're looking for in a first Deadpool outing. It's the kind of movie i'd be happy to sit down and turn my brain off for. Hope this amounts to something. Ryan Reynolds could actually be perfect for this role (hate myself for saying that)

Curmudgeon - 10/31/2013, 3:30 PM
@ RedandBlue "Why doesn't Disney/Marvel just break production company's contracts with a huge buyout?"

Because Fox and Sony have to pay Disney/Marvel a licensing fee every time they make one of those movies, plus a portion of the royalties.

Disney/Marvel basically make money off the Fox and Sony films, without having to pay anything into them.
PeterDarker
PeterDarker - 10/31/2013, 3:31 PM
Read the original draft of the script...OH MY GOD. It was amazing. I read it every so often because of how incredible it is. And it screams old school Ryan. I'm mean Two Guys and a Girl, Van Wilder, Buying the Cow, Smoking Aces Ryan Reynolds. Bad ass, funny as [frick] Ryan Reynolds. Don't know how much was revised, but if it's half as good as the one I read, it would launch Reynolds to a whole other level.

Fox has no balls. Plain and simple.

PeterDarker - 10/31/2013, 3:35 PM
@Bread, there's no heart or feeling to it? It's a Deadpool script. The same character that wore a suit of meat to fight Bullseye. A character that shoots himself in the head when he's bored. A character that stopped the X-men in their tracks using only a live chicken. Dude:

I don't get why everyone wants the rights at Disney/Marvel? Even if the rights did go back they'd probably make Magneto a laughing stock...smh

Ryan Reynolds is a good actor. I loved his performance in Safe House starring him and Denzel Washington.

However when it comes to action and beautiful visuals Marvel/Disney does the job! They need to work more on their characterization and getting the sense that not every movie needs to be a comedy. I'm not complaining but it's something I don't think that's necessary for every hero. There's a difference between a film having humorous elements and a film being a "comedy" <--- yeah I'm not with that! lol
