The full trailer for Disney and director Tim Burton's live-action remake of Dumbo will debut during the Country Music Association Awards later tonight, and the movie's official Twitter account has shared a new theatrical one-sheet in anticipation.

The movie follows a former circus star (Colin Farrell) who's life is turned upside down when he returns home from the war. When he rejoins a troupe led by Max Medici (Danny DeVito), he becomes the carer of a newborn elephant who is the laughing stock of the circus because of his enormous ears.

When word gets out that Dumbo can fly, V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) and Colette Marchant (Eva Green) take it upon themselves to make the little elephant a star/exploit him.

Circus owner Max Medici enlists former star Holt Farrier and his children Milly and Joe to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere, who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant, until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.

Dumbo also stars Nico Parker Rooney, Douglas Reith, Joseph Gatt and Alan Arkin, and is set to hit theaters in the U.S. and the UK on March 29, 2019.

I love Danny DeVito. He's a treasure.

I Hope Tim Burton does this story right. But everything looks pretty cool so far.

Man the only one of these that I want to happen is The Sword in the Stone. Make it a straight adaptation of The Once and Future King by T.H. White, like the cartoon was originally intended to be (in a trilogy). Then we might actually get a good Arthur movie for once.

@RorMachine

Sam Raimi talks about Stan Lee & also doing a Thor film with Stan Lee

Which Fox rejected
And Fox said ‘comic books don’t make good movies’
Which happened in 1991
2 years after Batman was a huge box office smash
Which Burton directed & Keaton star in
Which related to the Dumbo movie
Because Keaton is in it & Burton is directing
Fox going to be Fox

@LEVITIKUZ - Just goes to show how short sighted they were before before all of these films came into prominence. That is why some producers like Feige are one of a kind. He always saw the potential even when everyone else was brushing it off.

@LEVITIKUZ

I think it’s a blessing in disguise we didn’t get some CBMs earlier than we have.

Although a Sam Rami Thor movie sounds brilliant.
