actually live-action - remake of
Lady and the Tramp comes to Disney+ on November 12, and thanks to
People.com we have our first look at the cute canine cast alongside the actors that'll be voicing them.
All of the pooches in the movie are real-life rescue dogs, with stars such as Tessa Thompson, Justin Theroux and Sam Elliot providing their human voices. The story will follow the 1955 animated classic pretty closely, with "an upper-middle-class American cocker spaniel named Lady meeting a streetsmart, downtown stray mongrel called the Tramp and embarking on a series of romantic adventures.
Yes, that iconic spaghetti scene will feature, but the Siamese Cats will be getting an overhaul due to their perceived racial stereotyping.
