After a brief stint converting a small town into quintessential sitcoms from throughout the years, Elizabeth Olsen shall return as Wanda Maximoff in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Wandavision revealed that the source of Wanda's powers wasn't just the Mind Stone, but rather the Stone simply further unlocked her latent ability to harness Chaos Magic; therefore making her the legendary Scarlet Witch. Last we saw of Wanda, she had secluded herself in a remote cabin where she was seemingly performing rituals in order to find her lost children.
The Sorcerer Supreme himself was name-dropped during the final episode of Wandavision, with Agatha Harkness declaring that the Scarlet Witch's newfound powers surpass even his. Thus, the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reveals that the titular sorcerer will go to Wanda for help in the film, pulling her back into the fray.
The trailer for the upcoming sequel only featured a single shot of Wanda suited up as the Scarlet Witch, where she appeared to be donning a new outfit, or at least a deteriorated version of the one that she wore in the climactic episode of Wandavision. This new promotional art, though, seems to reveal that Wanda will don the undamaged Wandavision look at some point in the film, albeit with some minor differences such as sleeves and no detailing on her pants.
