After a brief stint converting a small town into quintessential sitcoms from throughout the years, Elizabeth Olsen shall return as Wanda Maximoff in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Wandavision revealed that the source of Wanda's powers wasn't just the Mind Stone, but rather the Stone simply further unlocked her latent ability to harness Chaos Magic; therefore making her the legendary Scarlet Witch. Last we saw of Wanda, she had secluded herself in a remote cabin where she was seemingly performing rituals in order to find her lost children.

The Sorcerer Supreme himself was name-dropped during the final episode of Wandavision, with Agatha Harkness declaring that the Scarlet Witch's newfound powers surpass even his. Thus, the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reveals that the titular sorcerer will go to Wanda for help in the film, pulling her back into the fray.

The trailer for the upcoming sequel only featured a single shot of Wanda suited up as the Scarlet Witch, where she appeared to be donning a new outfit, or at least a deteriorated version of the one that she wore in the climactic episode of Wandavision. This new promotional art, though, seems to reveal that Wanda will don the undamaged Wandavision look at some point in the film, albeit with some minor differences such as sleeves and no detailing on her pants.

@Nebula - The detailing is definitely nice on the new one, but I do really like those pants and gloves.

@Nebula - Agreed. But I do feel like the sleeves might work better for this movie, if they’re are going for a more sinister Wanda or straight up Villain

Wow disney really gave her sleeves cause she was showing too much skin by showing her shoulders.

@Matchesz - Disney also gave her bare arms, though... All of this is Disney. Everywhere the light touches.

@Spock0Clock - I get infinitely more Disney vibes from Wandavision even.

@Matchesz -

Disney has no problem with bare shoulders.

It’s a choice, made by which artist we don’t know yet. I remember Olsen requesting she didn’t want as much cleavage in her new suits. That’s not saying she made this choice, but you can see how these things get input from a lot of angles. And at the end of the day it’s a comic book movie; new suits are mandatory.

Can definitely understand why a Strange variant would turn evil. Evil sure does look nice

I kind of prefer it without the sleeves and with the more detail on the pants. This new version just looks like a sleeker version of her Phase 3 coat whereas without the sleeves it seemed more like a superhero outfit

Why the chest that... enormous... or the waist so thin... dunna. The rest is cool.

She’s easily my fav Avenger, but Feige has neutered and/or butchered all the other powerful characters like Hulk, Thor, and now Strange does stupid spells for teenagers cuz [frick] protecting reality.

This is one of those times when live action series and movies have greatly improved upon a superhero’s costume. It has elements of her classic book without looking ridiculous or overtly sexual. I think I like her look at the end of WandaVision better than this new concept art but that bright red outfit from the Doctor Strange trailer looks great too
