DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Trailer Release Window Reportedly Revealed

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is one of the most highly anticipated Marvel Studios movies of all-time, and we may now have a better idea of when the first trailer for the movie will arrive...

By JoshWilding - Oct 11, 2021 03:10 AM EST

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released next March, and a trailer arriving before the end of the year feels like an inevitability. Marvel Studios has to continue to hype Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home for now, of course, but a sneak peek being attached to the web-slinger's next adventure makes perfect sense given its ties to Strange and the Multiverse.

Daniel Richtman isn't the most reliable source, but he does often hit the nail on the head with trailer release dates. Now, he's claiming our first look at the Doctor Strange sequel will arrive in December.

This isn't exactly a shock, especially as it's easy to imagine the trailer debuting shortly before Spider-Man: No Way Home's release on December 17. The Multiverse is clearly going to factor into future MCU stories in a big way over the next couple of years, and it probably won't be too tricky to tease Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness without spoiling his team-up with the wall-crawler.

There are almost countless rumours surrounding the Sam Raimi-helmed sequel, though it's widely believed that Doctor Strange will be forced to protect America Chavez from the Scarlet Witch. She's going to tear through the Multiverse searching for her children, and a hero like America - who can hop between realities  - could be pivotal in tracking Tommy and Billy down.

If even half the claims about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness are correct, we're in for a wild, crazy ride. Hopefully, this first look is on the way in the next couple of months because it's about time Marvel Studios pull back the curtain on the Sorcerer Supreme's next solo outing.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released in theaters on March 25, 2022.

I'm not even gonna read the article, I'm just fully assuming it's DanielRPK with the educated guess of December. Gonna ride that Spider-Man wave

"Reportedly Revealed" (a phrase that doesn't really make sense btw)

- Some guy making an educated guess based on observable patterns

@Kumkani - it's been allegedly confirmed in a press conference we can't fully confirm actually took place.

@Kumkani - What's not to get? "Reportedly" means the source is unofficial (someone reputable "reports" on it), and "revealed" means that it was, well, revealed. It's not rocket science.

If the headline was "Reportedly Confirmed," then I'd probably agree with you, because "confirmed" would suggest it came from official sources and the "reportedly" part would directly contradict that idea.

Damn...was hoping for a teaser trailer at the end of this month, 5th anniversary of the original movie and just 5 months before the movie...although putting it before Spider-Man makes the most sense as Strange is a major part of the movie

The next Spiderman trailer will be after most people have seen Venom and the first Dr Strange trailer will be after everyone has seen Spiderman. We will at best get a very short teaser before then.

I think you’ll get it with Spiderman at the latest, makes sense to leapfrog of that movie since not only is it about the multiverse but also includes Doctor Strange

So what’s the MCU film with Spidey in it? Easy. F4. I’d love it to be X-men it Blade but those are cool. F4 is lame. Thanks to 3 (4) lame movies. They need a, shall we say, The Rock. A franchise steroid.

My prediction is that the trailer will come out before now and next march.
