While the first teaser trailer for Eternals was certainly impressive from a visual standpoint, it didn't exactly shed a lot of light on what we can expect from what is shaping up to be the most unique Marvel Studios movie yet.

However, the latest merchandise leak comes our way from an official description for a wall calendar, and seemingly reveals an interesting new plot point.

Teasing the history of the Eternals on Earth, it goes some way towards explaining why at least some members of the team have remained hidden from the world for thousands of years. While we know that Kingo, for example, is a celebrity, it seems they have a base elsewhere and make sporadic trips to the planet.

"Living on Saturn's moon, Titan, the Eternals protect Earth from the Deviants - and all other forms of cosmic evil," the description, from @Eternalsupdate, reveals. "This much-anticipated next big blockbuster from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is sure to have fans clamoring for more."

There's some undeniably intriguing intel there, and the mention of Titan once again ties the Eternals to Thanos. However, as these characters are thousands of years old, it's possible that they haven't been there for a very long time. It's all a bit confusing right now, but this latest reveal is going to get fans talking (here's hoping that the next trailer for Eternals reveals more about what we can expect).

Eternals is set to be released in theaters on November 5, 2021.

Yeah, no. There’s nothing of the sort in the description.

I wonder if the Avengers would have appreciated a bit of a heads up about Thanos?🤣

@ChangAlang - all joking aside, I'm wondering if they're gonna keep the whole Thanos is an eternal thing. Seems weird at this point since in that case the eternal should've long since been dealing with thanos.

@Origame - They’re definitely keeping Thanos as an Eternal…There’s a tweet going around of a screen at the new Avengers Campus in Disneyland that specifically describes Thanos as being an Eternal via Asgardian intel or some such thing…The tie in with Titan here is another piece of that…

I’m interested in how the MCU is going to explain the Eternals not only failing to warn the Avengers about Thanos, but also why they felt the need to not get involved with stopping him two friggen times…

That would make no sense though... Titan was decimated in Infinity War, plus it was quite clear that it was somewhere further away than Saturn's moon. Plus, the trailer implies that they simply have been pretending to be normal people, not much mistery there.

@Urubrodi - The movie clearly takes place over the course of a very long time. While much of it still doesn’t make sense right now, Titan being destroyed is irrelevant until we see the story, and why they may not have been around.

So the planet Thanos is from is Titan, and the Eternals are from Titan, but both are different Titans? One's a planet far, far away, and another a moon of Saturn? Got it.

Not so sure about this, but maybe their reasoning will be more understandable in the context of the movie.

What?!

No Mount Olympia? The Eternals are Terran. That's kind of the whole point.

Now they're Titanians like Thanos?

Wtf Marvel?! What in the actual fvck?

@GwenLantern - in fairness, they are supposed to be the same race as thanos.

Titan is a planet in the MCU and not a moon like in the comics

Surprised by just how many people made a big deal of where the eternals have been all this time as if marvel don’t know what they’re doing and won’t explain everything when the movie actually comes out, remember people saying the same thing after avengers came out like why don’t Thor or cap help iron man? Etc. have faith it’ll all make sense in the end

If they lived on Titan couldn't they have defeated Thanos before Avengers:Infinity War or at least let The Avengers know about him and help them out when the universe needed saving.
