First i would like to start off by saying this is my first article on CBM.com, actually it's my first article on any site so bear with me! Now on to the Avengers, all I can say is that it most definitly lives up to the hype and then some. Joss Whedon did an excellent job of bringing all of these comic book characters together for 150 mins of non stop action. I have to say, I had my doubts that it could be done. Mark Ruffalo was definitly the break out star in this movie. His protrayal of the hulk was far better then the last two silver screen versions. There is a point in the film where Hulk and Loki go at it and well i wont spoil it for those who still have not seen it but the scene had the theater dying with laughter. The rest of the cast brought their A game when playing their respective characters. The CGI was top notch. And with companies such as ILM and Weta its no wonder the special effects were as mesmerizing as they were. Bottom line this is the best comic book movie I have seen, maybe even better than The Dark Knight. I give the Avengers a 10/10.
