A little about our challenger,
Green Arrow is not your regular hero. He has no super powers, however is an expert marksman with the bow and arrow. He has a number of different types of arrows that make him much more than your average archer such as a glue arrow, a net arrow, explosive arrow, time bomb arrow, grappling arrow, fire extinguishing arrow, flash arrow, tear gas arrow, cryonic arrow, a boxing-glove arrow, and even a kryptonite arrow. These trick arrows as well as his amazing skill and resoursefulness make him a powerful ally and a deadly enemy. He is one of the few heroes willing to kill to get the job done, something that will come in handy here in the comic book battleground where every battle is life and death.
The Scenario:
The cajun theif Gambit is in Star City becuase there is a prize there that is just too tempting to pass up, a device created by super scientist Reed Richards that can amplify the natural abilities of a mutant 100x beyond their normal capacity. This device, if fallen into the wrong hands could allow its user to become one of the most powerful beings on the planet. It is passing through Star City on its way to be examined at JSA headquarters by the third smartest man in the world, Mr. Terrific.
Gambit knows that not only could this device fall into the wrong hands, but the wrong hands would be willing to pay some major cash for it. However, with noble intents at heart, Professor Xazier has sent Gambit to make use of his 'special talent' at aquiring things that should not be aquired to keep it from falling into the wrong hands.
What Gambit didnt take into account was Star City's emerald archer carefully watching over the very special cargo. So when Gambit, a known mutant with a reputation that is not exactly stellar, attempts to steal the device Green Arrow has no choice but to go on the attack...
