Any comic fan with writing as a hobby would love to write a film about their favorite character. It is very rare for this to occur or for them to succeed. This isn't a charity or a petition, asking for donations or signatures. This is merely a comic book fan, with a hobby for writing, attempting to do something that has never been done, make a full length Batman machinima film.
But, in the end, numbers still matter, whether it's money, names, or followers on twitter. In this case, views are the numbers that matter, and they need to be higher in order to justify making a project this big.
