Doing a Fan Cast at a time like this is risky to say the least but I hope this will be one of the better examples of how it should be done... Not that I have tons of experience. No I'm just a Comic Book Movie Junkie. So now that that's said, let's begin...
Maybe I'm the only one but all this excitement about a Green Lantern Movie is driving me mad with curiosity and imagination. Characters are already cast, filming has begun so now we just sit and wait? At this point, I already expect the movie to be great when it comes out. But I can't imagine it being a "standalone"... Will it be a trilogy?
Well this is the idea that's been floating in the back of my mind. What if each story lead into another movie based on the next Green Lantern. It's been done with novels before. A character in the supporting cast becomes the main character in the sequel. For example, this movie could end up with the Guardians of the Universe deciding they need to elect, summon or choose another human lantern. So the first movie would be about Hal Jordan, the second about Guy Gardner, the third about John Stewart, the fourth about Kyle Rayner and the last movie would be about the whole corps... Five movies in total. If DC doesn't do anything stupid, this should easy.
That being said let's look at my dream cast for the fifth installment, a Green Lantern Corps Movie. For some reason I felt the need to create a very multicultural cast... Hope you like.
Ryan Reynold is a great actor... I can't wait for a movie trailer.
He's already been cast from the moment DC first announced a Justice League Film.
A fan favorite for even Hal... No going wrong here.
He looks the part and can act it. There are other options for this character but I haven't seen Jr. in a while.
Not only is she hot but from what I've seen of her on Smallville, she ain't that bad of a actor either.
Tinsel was recently in New Moon as the fiancee to Captain Wolfpack...
Chyler shouldn't be a complete stranger to most of you. A little make up and she'll do great.
The Prophesied one... I don't expect you guys to recognize Akshay Kumar but he's a huge Bollywood/Hindi movie star. At this point, I don't remember how a Quebecois, black Jamaican got into Hindi films but whether you can understand the language or not (I read the subtitles), they have an incredibly strong film industry.
The violent soldier with a green ring. For those of you who don't know Manu Bennett, he's a co-star on the new Spartacus series and has a pretty decent resume.

Everyone should know by now how much I hate overusing actors but can you really think of anyone else to fill this gap?
Eddie Murphy, doesn't necessarily have to play a funny character but the point is, it will work.
A WOMAN!!! Yes Pamela is one of the greatest voice actors right now. She does Bobby on King of The Hill.
And finally, I tried finding the actor that did him in the animated movie and came out blank. It was probably someone playing more than one role.
As you can see, I didn't cast any villains. I leave that up to you. Please tell me what you think of my unique approach towards a Green Lantern Collection. Do you think it could work? I do if it's written properly...
