FANCAST: Batman Beyond
"And for all that fierce exterior, I've never met anyone who cared as deeply about his fellow man as Bruce Wayne. Except maybe you."
Hope Lies Beyond
Directed by Darren Aronofsky
Written by Paul Dini
Dean Geyer is Terry McGinnis / Batman
He looks the part, but other than that, he's a pretty good actor. He took on the role of the mentee, and displayed some MMA skills in Never Back Down 2 and works in the security unit of Terra Nova, under Commander Taylor. Combine those roles and you get something that looks kinda like Terry McGinnis.
Ed Harris is Bruce Wayne
I've never seen Harris suggested for old Bruce, and I really don't understand why. He has a very strong presence, looks the part more than anyone else I can think of, and has that deep, monotone voice. My only complaint would be his height. Standing at 5'9 though, he's not any shorter than some of the favorites for this role, such as Michael Keaton.
Willem Dafoe is The Joker
Dafoe is an incredible character actor, that has shown time and time again that he can play maniacal as well as anyone. He also has the most wicked smile I've ever seen.
John Slattery is Derick Powers / Blight
As a big Mad Men fan, Slattery was the first to come to mind when casting Blight. He's got that corrupt buisnessmen attitude to him. I thought this was an original choice, but then I realized Mr Murdockk beat me to the punch.
Helen Mirren is Commissioner Gordon
Mirren is one badass old lady. That makes her perfect for Commissioner Gordon 2.0
Kat Graham is Max Gibson
When I picture her as Max, I think of her role as Bonnie in The Vampire Diaries. She could definitely channel some aspects of that role into this one.
Shay Mitchell is Dana Tan
Shay is a rock solid actress, and has the perfect look for Dana.
Luke Goss is Shriek
Goss is a great action star, who oozes villainy and is no stranger to CBMs.
Vincent Karthesier is Ira Billings / Spellbinder
He comes across as intelligent, and is a relatively adaptable actor, who can go from timid to engraged in the blink of an eye.
Winona Ryder is Inque
Winona knows the role of the femme fatale well enough, and is best in such roles, in my opinion. She could own this role with ease.
Lori Loughlin is Mary McGinnis
Loughlin is age appropriate, looks enough the part, and is comfortable in the motherly role. Why not?
Jack Coleman is Warren McGinnis
Coleman has played the father to a "troubled" teen a few times now, and has pretty much mastered it.
Taraji P Henson is Amanda Waller
She's a tremendously talented black actress, and based on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, she could play Waller old and young.
Louis Hunter is Charlie "Big Time" Bigelow
I've been watching The Secret Circle, and I've found myself hating on this actor, or his character at least. He's a pompous jerk-off, and he's very easy to hate. He's perfect for Big Time pre-mutation.
Henry Rollins is Mad Stan
Rollins IS Mad Stan. End of.
Sebastien Foucan is Stalker
Maybe not the world's greatest actor, but he is one of the founders of parkour and the creator of free running, and that would make for some sweet action scenes. You may know him from Casino Royale or The Tournament
