After the overwhelming success of the Avengers films, Marvel is expanding the scope to all the corners of it's Cinematic Universe. If the rumors are to be believed, one of the properties lined up for a big screen adaptation is The Inhumans. Here are my picks for the Rulers of Atilan.
Blackbolt- Jude Law
As this is primarily a silent role, it will take an actor of considerable skill to pull off the commanding presence of the king. Jude certainly has the acting chops, and has enough star power to headline this franchise.
Medusa- Emily Blunt
As she's been close to being cast in a few different Marvel roles, it's about time that she makes her debut in the MCU. Blunt is no stranger to playing royalty, as seen in films such as "The Young Victoria".
Crystal- Imogene Poots
A rising star, Poots has the doe-eyed innocent quality necessary for the role of the youngest member of the family.
Karnak- Marc Strong
Primarily known for his villainous roles, Karnak would be a refreshing change of pace for an actor of Strong's caliber.
Gorgon- Rory McCann
As he's already proven on "Game of Thrones", McCann's quite able to portray a brash warrior with a hidden heart of gold.
Triton- Ben Whishaw
There's something, dare I say... inhuman, that Whishaw is able to bring to role, seen in films like "Perfume" , that would serve him well for a character like Triton.
Maximus- Jim Sturgess
Sturgess is truly an underrated actor. He'd really be able to flex his acting muscles playing a real lunatic like Maximus, and hopefully in his hands, he could elevate the role into something more than a two-bit Loki knockoff.
Lockjaw- CGI
Though in the final product he would be rendered by computer, I picture Marvel using real dogs as reference the way they used real raccoons to reference Rocket.
Well, that's it. Please, share your thoughts and suggestions below.
