justice league background: First appearing in The Brave and the Bold #28 (1960), the League originally appeared with a line-up that included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter. However, the team roster has been rotated throughout the years with characters such as Green Arrow, Atom, Hawkman, Black Canary, Captain Marvel, Zatanna, Plastic Man, and dozens of others. The team got its own comic book title in October 1960, when the first issue was published, and would continue to number 261 in April 1987, which was the final issue. Throughout the years, various incarnations or subsections of the team have also operated as Justice League America, Justice League Europe, Justice League International, Justice League Task Force, Justice League Elite, and Extreme Justice. BATMAN-david rees snell
his biggest performance was as ronnie gordacki on the shield, he was a member of the strike team for the shows run. also starred in the unit
to me he has the silent mysterious look, but at the same time charismatic and can see him portraying a rich guy and troubled character like bruce wayne, and can pull off batman nicely.

SUPERMAN-Russell crowe. i know he isnt seen as being a good superman by many people but i think he has the right look to play an older superman, he has the aged rugged look and is very good at playing serious characters, and can pull off how an aged superman would need to be
starred in gladiator, a beautiful mind, state of play, american gangster, robin hood

WONDER WOMAN-jennifer connelly-starred in the house of sand and fog, requiem of a dream, blood diamond
to me she looks alot like wonder woman, the hair, the face, the body. and i think she would be great as an older wonder woman. and im sure she could pull off the toughness

GREEN LANTERN-tom cruise- mission impossible, the last samurai, collateral
i know this choice wont set well with alot of people, and i admit myself he isnt that great of an actor but i think he has the look that would fit and aged hal, i thought he did pretty well in mi3 and ok im some other movies, and i can see him wearing the ring, anyways thats my pick

THE FLASH-bradley cooper-stars in the hangover, alias, he just not that into you
well bradley cooper was being considered for this role as well as green lantern, and think he has come up alot in the last two years and i think it is his turn to try his hand at a superhero

Yeah, dunno about Crowe as Superman (maybe in HIS mind, hehe), but I like your whole 'when they're older' concept.

Interesting cast I don't really like Cruise in a comic movie at all he is sort of crazy now. Crowe I think could actually pull off Superman quite well he is a very good actor. The rest is good. Where is the rest of the league like Hawkman, and Martian Manhunter.
AshleyWilliams
