One of the primary components of Movies Make the Man is the concept of being a leading man versus being a sidekick.
One of the fist questions I ask in the program is which persona resembles you the closest.
Here’s a snapshot of each type. Take a minute to assess yourself.
A QUICK PICTURE OF THE LEADING MAN AND SIDEKICK
Leading Man
- You’re coordinated, fit, and sure of yourself.
- You take charge without asking.
- You’re assertive, even aggressive when it comes to something you want.
- You jump into action quickly when being threatened. Even quicker when defending others.
- You care little of the opinions that others hold of you.
- You often ignore what the crowd is doing to do your own thing.
- Women see you as sexy, mysterious and challenging.
Sidekick
- You’re generally clumsy, out of shape, and unable to hold your own space with confidence.
- You use humor to compensate for your lack of presence. Though temporarily charming, the jokes come off as goofy.
- You constantly question your own choices and seek the validation of others as a result.
- You ask permission before taking action. Often the answer to your query is no.
- You are passive, submissive and fear conflict.
- You care greatly about how you are perceived by others andwant to be liked.
- In the crowd, you are simply part of the background.
- You feel dismissed by women often.
How’d you do?
If not as well as you’d like, watch this site over the next couple of weeks. I’m going to be providing a free week-long video seminar that deals with these issues soon.
