Marvel Team-Ups and Clashes (Vote!)

Which team-up or clash would you like to see in a Marvel movie?

With the new "Avengers" movie coming to theaters in 2012, and depending on how successful it is (which we all know it'll be pretty wizard), will be the start of a whole new generation of comic book movies. I believe that the "Avengers" is going to spark a ton of Marvel, DC, or independent companies to start making movies of super hero crossovers, or even just packing a movie with a bunch of heroes and finding a way to make it work. Whether it's something small like throwing Spider-Man in with the Fantastic 4, or throwing 20 plus heroes into a film and making a Marvel Zombie movie.

I've put together a list of my personal favorite series from Marvel Comics, and I'd like you all to vote for which would end up being the best choice to have a full length film.

CIVIL WAR

This would be such an groundbreaking movie to make, and seeing it would leave me breathless. The story of heroes going at it with other heroes, over the Registration Act, and the tragic story of Steve Rogers death. Ironman teaming up with Mr. Fantastic, She-Hulk, and Yellow Jacket, for the Pro Registration Act believing that all super heroes should release their secret identities to the world so that their would be no more secrets to society. The exact opposite of what Captain America wants, along with his companions including Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Cable and more.

X-MEN: AGE OF APOCALYPSE

This is my vote. The Age of Apocalypse was my favorite comic book series of all time. It took place in an alternate universe where Apocalypse showed up and turned everyone's life into a living hell. He and his Four Horsemen (including Archangel, previously known as Angel) drove Professor X and Magneto to team up and take on Apocalypse to prevent him from destroying the world. Turning Colossus into a thief and driving Wolverine and Cyclops to fight over Jean Grey causing Cyclops to lose one of his eyes and Wolverine losing one of his hands.

SECRET WARS

The Beyonder captures a selected group of heroes such as Thor, Cyclops, Spider-Man and more. He takes them to space and pins them against Dr. Doom, Doctor Octopus, Absorbing Man, etc. and tells them that whoever wins will get their heart's desire. This is also the series where Spider-Man first came across the symbiote and received his black suit.

FUTURE FOUNDATION

After Johnny Storm's death the Fantastic 4 recruited Spider-Man into the team and changed their name to the Future Foundation. It's still a relatively new series, and I'm enjoying it very much. I believe it would be interesting to see them making a Future Foundation movie instead of rebooting the Fantastic 4.

AVENGERS VS. JUSTICE FRIENDS

Haha I saw the picture and had to put it up.

These are just some ideas for movies that I'd really like to see be made (apart from the last one.) Let me know which one of these would be the best movie. If you have any other ideas for a movie, put it down on a comment. Alright guys. Thanks for the ideas from last week, again, email me at [email protected] and give me some ideas to write about. Hit you up next weekend. SHABLAGOO!

very good post, civil war film is somthing me and my friends always talk about and ways to make it work, i think it could be done but would have to be outside of the current marvel universe regrettably. i think this is because in the timeline of the films it is way to early to introduce such a huge storyline with such big consequences, plus more films will be needed to introduce the other heroes and villans as it would be a mistake to just throw them all in straight away. the main problem i see is that by the time (if) this film would be made all the current actors for avengers (who obviously must play a role) would most likley have finished their contracts and probably be tired of playing these roles and would have to be recast.

dont get me wrong i would love to see this, but there are very few ways to do it right, and a very risky film to make (especially from a fanboy point of view)
but GOD imagine if they did

long it out to a trilogy also

preciate it 14thavenger. you do have some really good points especially with the timeline. I think if they do it, then they gotta give it the same set up Punisher Warzone had, where it skipped straight to it. No stories for the heroes, just bam. and with a movie like this i think the hardest part would be casting. i mean spider-man is owned by sony, and x-men with who the hell knows now. i dont see it happening sadly. but i think they could pull off age of apocalypse and save the xmen franchise. thanks for the post guys
