I have a theory for who will be the Hosremen of Apocalypse in
X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) I am 70-80% sure that the horsemen will be
Cyclops (Famine, as he was the Minister of Famine in AoA),
Jean Grey (War no precedent in the comics, but would be cool),
Gambit (Death, as in Blood of Apocalypse) and
Mister Sinister (Pestilence as in Age of Apocalypse)
Cyclops I would like to see back, it would explain why he has not shown up yet, as they could explain he was kidnapped by Mr sinister at a young age, they could potentially have him have aged slower to explain why his brother was about 20 in 1962 and Cyclops was only in his late 20s in the year 2000, a 30 year age gap doesn't make much sense unless they are father/son, or Cyclops hasn't aged since being a teenager.
Jean Grey is an important character, who, to tie in with the end of The Last Stand could have been kidnapped by Sinister after that origin sequence, being so obviously powerful she would be a good pick, she could also invoke Dark Phoenix.
Gambit needs to come back, and probably is coming back in Apocalypse, it only makes sense to bring him back as Death, as he has precedent in the comics. make-up and such would make the change from Taylor to Channing less jarring too.
Mister Sinister is a no brainer, if you are doing Apocalypse, you can't not do Sinister, he's also a huge fan favourite. I wouldn't be surprised (or annoyed) if they got Kevin Bacon to play Sinister and say that Nathaniel Essex and Sebastian Shaw were the same person
all along. Both are and followers of Apocalypse in the comics, and it would save time on giving him his comics origin. A long time acolyte of Apocalypse, he could have been resurrected after First Class as Mister Sinister, the Gem in his forehead sitting where Magneto pushed that coin!
Thanks for reading, let me know what you thnk below!
