Uncharted is my top 5 favorite Videogame series, it is the BEST Playstation 3 videogame Franchise. I heard SONY Pictures is trying to get the games into films which I think is a good call but I did not like the casting of Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake, he's a good actor but just doesn't suit the role.
I do not know if he is still involved in the film, if so or not comment below, I been too busy to know what is going on the Uncharted film.
I cast almost everyone from Uncharted Drakes Fortune to Uncharted 3, Drakes Deception.
Let get started with the cast.
The cast is in game order like which game they appeared in like Nathan Drake, Sully and Elena wil remain on the top as it would be a waste of space if they were added in all 3 castings.
For the role of Nathan Drake, I have 2 choices for the role, I will be alright if you guys don't like my picks. Before you might start hating, hear me out as why I chose them.
To let you all know their is NO Nathan Fillion on this fancast, I liked him on Firefly and Castle but if he was 15 years younger he would have been an awesome Nathan Drake.
Choice 1.
Jensen Ackles as Nathan Drake
Reason- He is great on SUPERNATURAL, his character reminds me of Nathan Drake sometimes which I only noticed after my cousin told me when we finished re-watching Season 4. My only complaint about Ackles if given the role, is his voice as he tries to make it sound too deep still he would be a good Nathan Drake if given a chance.
Choice 2.
Jake Gyllenhaal as Nathan Drake.
Reason- He is a good actor, sure he may have been a BAD Prince of Persia, not his fault. I liked him on Donnie Darko, Brothers, Source Code and Jarhead, he is a good actor and can easily pull of the role. If he was given a chance he can do a good job. He almost replaced Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man 2 as Tobey was suffering back problems from filming Seabiscuit. Tobey recovered in time, Jake has the personailty to play Nathan Drake and can easily play him.
Other choices- Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth, Zachary Levi if he gained around 15-20 lbs of muscle.
Bruce Campbell as Victor Sullivan or "Sully" to other characters.
Reason- He is the BEST choice for the role, he was awesome on the Evil Dead films, he is around the same age "Sully" should be on Drakes Fortune. He will own the part, if he gets it, the last rumor I heard about the Uncharted film is that Sam Raimi might takeover after he finishes his other movie. If false comment below, it's just what I heard a WHILE ago, if this rumor is true, Bruce will take the role since he loves working with Raimi.
Other choices- George Clooney, JK Simmons
Yvonne Strahovski as Elena Fisher
Reason- I like Yvonne on CHUCK (still sad it ended so soon, DAMN YOU NBC), she was ok on Killer Elite despite being a secondary role and not a good film. I liked her as Miranda Lawson on Mass Effect 2-3 (pissed she wasn't a squad member on MASS EFFECT 3, I swear when time machines get made. I or possible descendant should go back in time and make Casey Hudson add her as a squad member and REMOVE Jessica Chobot from the game).
I better stop or I'll lose train of thought, my point is Yvonne can do a great job as Elena Fisher if she was given a chance. She is a beautiful woman and she would work great with Jake Gyllenhaal or Jensen Ackles as Nathan Drake. From how I seen her in CHUCK she can play a strong female character.
Other choices- Kristen Bell but thought she was used too much.
Timothy Dalton as Gabriel Roman
Reason- He was James Bond for starters, he is great at playing villains in such films and tv series from Doctor Who, Flash Gordon and CHUCK (it's complicated to explain and won't spoil to those who haven't seen CHUCK yet). Timothy is British and so is the character, again Timothy Dalton can play a better villain then Pierce Bronsan. Don't get me wrong Bronsan is a good actor but I believe Timothy can do a much better job. Besides Timothy HAS the villain look anyways, he will easily nail the role if given it.
Other choices- Pierce Bronsan.
Dominic West as Atoq Navarro
Reason- Dominic is a fan favorite for the role and he can easily do the job if asked, he was great on The Wire, Centurion, and was really good on John Carter (to all of you guys who haven't seen it and like Sci-Fi go watch it on DVD or Blu-ray it is a good film).
Other choices- NONE.
Amaury Nolasco as Eddy Raja
Reason- He suits the role and a fan favorite for the role and can easily pull off the role. I only seen him in Prison Break and Benchwamers (not proud of seeing that movie took my brother to that movie), Transformers. He is the only guy I can see in the role.
Other choices- NONE.
Uncharted 2 Characters.
Joel David Moore as Jeff Mayhre
Reason- He has played this type of roles before and has the look to pull it off. Only saw him in AVATAR, Grandma's Boy, CHUCK (guest starred as a villain) and Dodgeball. Kinda thought after seeing him in those roles I think he can pull it off.
Other choices- Zachary Levi but people would think I would have added him because I am a fan of CHUCK.
Eva Green as Chloe Frazer
Reason- She is a good actress, she was great on CAMELOT, Casion Royale and Kingdom of Heaven. I know cast her in my previous fancasts it's because she is a good actress and can pull off any role she is given. Another reason I cast her is because everytime Claudia Black voices a character the first actress whom pops in my head to potray a live action version of that character is Eva Green as for a Dragon Age film should be made Eva Green MUST be Morrigan.
My point is Eva can do a really good job as Chole Frazer as she is my first choice for the role.
Other choices- NONE.
Jason Momoa as Tenzin
Reason- He looks the role, he was awesome in Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo, he was a good Conan on the reboot of Conan but wished the filmed could have been better. He is a tall guy and has a tanned skintone and if he can hopefully learn to speak Tibet he can do the role.
Other choices- Maybe getting an unknown from Tibet.
Anthony Hopkins as Karl Schafer
Reason- He is Anthony FN Hopkins, he is one of the greatest actors of all time, he was an AWESOME Hannibel Lector (fun fact he almost went insane when he played the role TWICE). He taught Antonio Banderas to use a sword (Mask of Zorro reference) which he was good in. He was an EPIC Odin on THOR which I knew the moment Thor is getting a film it had to be Hopkins for Odin. Anthony Hopkins can NAIL this role without a doubt and can easily potray the character. Plus who DOESN'T love Anthony Hopkins.
Other choices- Christhopher Plummer but Hopkins is more badass.
I have 2 choices for the role of Harry Flynn hope you guys like my 2 choices.
Choice 1
Bradley Cooper as Harry Flynn
Reason- I wanted someone different for Harry Flynn are a bit too old like Edward Norton and e is a good actor, saw him The Hangover 1-2, Wedding Crashers, The A-Team, Limitless. Bradley Cooper looks the role and can easily play the role and he looks like a guy who might not be able to trust with your life (no offense to the guy). Cooper can pull it off.
My other choice and MANY might like him for the role now.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldeau as Harry Flynn.
Reason- He is a good actor and is an AWESOME Jaime Lannister, he was also good on New Amsterdam. Nikolaj looks the role and can do a much better job then Bradley Cooper or Tim Roth can do, which I think. The guy SHOULD HAVE been Connor MacLeod in the HIGHLANDER Reboot. Nikolaj suits the role and can nail it.
Other choices- Tim Roth but too old.
Conan Stevens as Draza
Reason- The Great Khali is being used too much and get a guy who can well sort of act. Despite only seeing him in his one appearance in Game of Thrones as "The Mountain" he looked scary and after replaying Uncharted 2. I knew he should play "Draza" as he is a BIG guy standing at 7ft2 I believe. Besides who doesn't want to see "The Mountain" manhandle Jake Gyllenhaal or Jensen Ackles in that Train scene before getting killed.
Ray Stevenson as Lazarevic
Reason- He is perfect for the role, he is an AWESOME Punisher too bad he picked to play him in the bad one (If Ray was in the 2004 version it would have been cool but Thomas Jane did a good job). Ray is going to kick ass as Firefly in G.I. Joe Retaliation dsepite being delayed another 10 months. Ray can easily do this role and would be cool when he fights Nathan Drake in the final act in Uncharted 2.
Other choices- Ray Stevenson is PERFECT for Lazarevic
Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception
Luke Goss as Charlie Cutter
Reason- He looks the role, better then Jason Statham and is a better actor then Stathan anyways. Luke Goss is a good actor in such films, Blade II (favorite Blade film), Hellboy II, he was good on Death Race II. Luke Goss can pull this role off without a doubt.
Other choices- Jason Statham but is used TOO MUCH.
Oded Fehr as Salim
Reason- Oded is a good actor, he is good on the first 2 MUMMY Films, he was a pretty good Carlos in the Resident Evil films which I believe he did justice in the films. Fehr looks the role when he was in the Mummy and Mummy Returns and thought "Why don't they get him for the role". He can pull it off.
Other choices- NONE.
Richard Armitage as Talbot.
Reason- He looks the role and was great on North and South, BBC's Robin Hood, now he is going to play Thorin in the Hobbit films which he will do a good job in. Richard looks the role as well and can easily pull it off.
Other choices- Edward Norton.
Helen Mirren as Katherin Marlowe
Reason- Helen is a great actress and is a fan favorite for the role, plus she looks the role. Besides who doesn't want Helen Mirren in the role as she can pull off the role. Helen is just the only person I can see in this role.
Other choices- Emma Thompson.
