Not much has been released about the recently announced machinima fan film but a short synopsis was provided in the video description:

"The Batman delves into an updated version of the character like never before, as Bruce Wayne's crusade to rid Gotham of corruption and James Gordon's refusal to become one of the corrupt crosses paths. The unlikely allies must learn to trust each other in this machinima inspired by Batman: Year One, and featuring elements from previous adaptations while managing to be something viewers were never expecting."

While the film still has no release date, a nearly full cast and the ability to film with no cost guarentees a closer release date. Well, let your opinions roar in the comment section!

Good animation, but Batman saying I enjoy causing pain just doesn't seem like batman to me.

Yeah I understand that, but it was used as more of a scare tactic to get information.

I'm intrigued to know more, but at the same time the short's tone feels like it missed who Batman is. I'll reserve judgement until I know more about it.

Im sorry the animation left much to be desired and the script seems slow to me so far. The Arkham games upped the level of CGI needed to pull off a quality product. Its fan made so I respect the amount of work put into creating this but you should have polished your work a lil more and waited to debut it.

Not bad, although the 'Holy S**t' live felt out of place in a Batman story, I understand that this might be the reaction to seeing a 6,4 "Batman", sometimes swearing in a movie can feel, well, cheesy, and you can convey the emotion without its use. I would go as far to say you'd been better to have him say "Holy S..." Then being cut off by the Batarang as that way you get across the surprise plus Batman's quickness.

That being said, and this may make me sound very foolish in asking, but did you create this on GTA if so, how? Does it have a way to make movies on the game that include camera angles etc?

Despite my opening comment, I would have to say great effort as I imagine how ever you did this it probably took you a lot of time.

Hey if ever short on ideas to make films more than welcome to use my script I did on here as I would never have the time to make something like this.

Carry on with it though as look forward to seeing final product.

@ Hush2010 Respect your opinion, but it's not animated, it was made, not by me, with GTA IV because it's one of the only games with the ability to pull this stuff off. If Arkham could, we would definitely use that.

@ Knightrider yes it was made with GTA IV. The Holy Sh*t line was an adlib by the actor, so I guess the director used it, wasn't in my script. As for swapping ideas, what's your email, I'd be happy to take any advice.
