Before the cast, I'd like to say one thing i know there will be a few choices that will be immediately kill the cast for anybody, and that's perfectly understandable we are all entitled to our own thoughts and opinions on what we want the Fantastic Four to be and i welcome for any feedback you guys give in the comments. That said, I hope you enjoy the cast.
Director - Brad Bird (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, The Incredibles 1 and 2)
Brad Bird is one of the best directors working today in my opinion he knows how to balance pulse pounding action, with humor and heart, to top it off The Incredibles series is basically what everyone wanted the Fantastic Four movies to be since the beginning.
John Krasinski as Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic
(A Quiet Place, The Office, 13 Hours)
I know, i know, i'm getting probably as tired of this pick as you are, but it really should be a no brainier at this point that Krasinski is definitely the right man for the job, he is at just the right age with him being old enough to be convincing as a veteran scientist but while also maintaining the youth that is required for doing a big franchise such is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he has proven in the past that he can do action, dram,a and comedy extremely well and could play the stoic super genius while also being a strong leader for the team.
Emily Blunt as Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman
(A Quiet Place, Edge Of Tommorow, Sicario)
Just like with Krasinski, its not hard to see why Blunt has been cast so much as Sue she would rock the role, and give the character the needed depth and range that both Jessica Alba and Kate Mara failed to deliver not to mention the fact that Blunt and Krasinski are married irl anf their chemistry on screen together would be very easy to pull off.
Michael Cera as Johnny Storm aka The Human Storm
(Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, Superbad, Juno)
I Know your automatic thought is to cuss me out and tell me to never do a fan cast again and i understand that this is an odd choice and if you decide to click off the article right now i dont blame you, but just hear me out. He's really grown as an actor to me and isn't so over the top with his ''nerdy'' persona anymore. His perfomance as Scott Pilgrim is basically what i imagine Johhny Storm to be like, a cocky but likeable young man who hasn't quite grown up yet, he already has the laid back jokey attuide that Johnny would need and did a pretty good job with the fight scenes in Scott Pilgrim. i think one scene with him as the Human Torch would turn everybody around.
A more realistic choice: Zac Efron or Dylan O'Brien
John Cena as Ben Grimm/The Thing
(WWE, Blockers, Sisters)
Cena is a treat to watch in whatever he does either in a wrestling ring or in movies and would give an amazing show stealing perfomance for Ben like Batista did for Drax in Guardians.
I was going to cast David Harbour at first but he is already playing hellboy.
Dan Stevens as Victor Von Doom
(Beauty and the Beast, Legion, The Guest)
Dan is a tremendous actor who has played complex, tragic, and ruthless characters in the past and could really do justice to one of the best comic book villians of all time.
Victor would not be Doom in the movie he would actually start as an ally and close friend of the team making is eventually war against the team although the more tragic plus it it would be stupid imo to waste a huge amount of potential for a character who could be potentially be a big avengers movie level villian like Thanos.
Mark Hamill as Harvey Ekder/Mole Man
