I think they should bring back Jean Grey from the dead but she decides to leave the X-men for awhile to regain her inner self. Thus she will only be in the beginning.
Professor X was only in another dimension and comes back into his twin’s body. Xavier puts Cyclops in charge of the X-men, when Jean also brings Scott back from the other dimension she sent him and the Professor. Xavier leaves the academy with Jean to help her sort herself out. (I think Famke should be replaced with someone younger in the roll, Janssen's getting old.)
Then Mr. Sinister and the Marauders show up (see Hawk’s FANCAST of Sinister and The Marauders for their line-up).
Scott brings in Cannonball, and Emma Frost to replace Jean on the roster.
I want to see a younger shorter Wolverine so I’ve replaced Hugh with Christian Kane from Angel.
Gambit shows up along the way to help the X-men fight Sinister and the Marauders and mutual sparks fly between him and Rogue and things heat up for them. I replaced Taylor Kitche with Ryan Kwanten as an older Gambit.
I also believe Rogue should be a street savvy older tougher female so I chose Eliza Dushku for Rogue. I never have liked the more naïve vulnerable girl of Anna Paquin. She is all wrong for Rogue and I know a lot of you agree with me. And since Joss Whedon has Eliza in his "Doll House" and he wrote Astonishing X-men in the beginning, I do believe he should write and direct X-4.
Thus my line-up is a lot more like the Astonishing X-men. I also think the full title should be, X-MEN 4: ASTONISHING!
