Working Title: X-Men: Blood & Pride
- Introduces Mr. Sinister, Gambit, Colossus, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Sunfire, Nightcrawler, Quicksilver, Mastermind, Toad, and Apocalypse.
- Magneto begins making his wide scale plans for mutant domination by placing Mystique with the Grand Duke of Russia. Once Magneto gathers enough mutants, one of them will assassinate the Duke and begin a war between the humans
- Magneto’s Brotherhood will consist of Azazel, Emma Frost, Mystique, Mastermind, Angel, and Toad
- Professor X’s X-Men will consist of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Colossus, and Gambit. Havok leaves to go his own way.
- Mr. Sinister and the Marauders will appear and consist of Azazel, Sunfire, Gambit and, for a short time during the script, Mystique.
- Sunfire is recruited by the X-Men as well, but turns on them and reveals himself to be a Marauder. It is the opposite for Gambit, who they all know is a Marauder but, is convinced by Prof. X to “turn over a new leaf”
- A love triangle develops between Mystique, Magneto, and Azazel. Mystique gives birth to Nightcrawler by the end of the script.
- Jean Grey is the main focus of everyone’s fighting, as they all (Mr. Sinister, Prof. X, and Magneto) battle to gain her loyalty. She, obviously, chooses the X-Men, foiling Mr. Sinister’s plans, but not entirely upsetting Magneto, who still has an ace in the hole: he will assassinate the duke of Russia.
- The X-Men, while in Russia, gain the help of Colossus after he witnesses a battle between the X-Men and some other mutants and wants to help.
- Mystique doesn’t want to have Azazel’s baby, but he forces her too, causing Magneto to supposedly “kill” Azazel. Afterwards, Magneto and Mystique take the baby to an orphanage in a small village; where they also find a young boy named Quicksilver, whose parentage is questioned by Magneto, as the boy has a familiar surname.
- In the end, it is revealed that Mister Sinister was working for Apocalypse (although we see Apocalypse give Mister Sinister his powers in a flashback at the beginning). Mister Sinister, under the guise of Prof. X, infiltrates Worthington Industries, to find a boy codenamed, Angel. But when he finally finds the boy, Prof. X and the X-Men are already there to stop him, and make a final stand against Sinister.
- Prof. X will lose his hair in the final battle over Jean when he pushes his abilities beyond their regular range.
- Beast begins to accept himself after he and Mystique share a scene at the end.
- Magneto and Prof. X will rebuild Cerebro, during the course of the script, so that they may find Mister Sinister and the Marauders.
Overall Synopsis:
After the events of X-Men: First Class, Magneto begins his war on humanity by planning the assassination of the Grand Duke of Russia which, in turn, he plans to frame on another country so that it will start a new World War. Professor X begins recruiting new X-Men (Colossus, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Gambit) to defend humanity from Magneto, his rising Brotherhood of Mutants (Azazel, Mystique, Emma Frost, Toad, Mastermind, and Angel), and a new enemy in the form of Mister Sinister, whose motives are a bit unclear, and also has his own team of mutants known as the Marauders. As the war over mutant, and mankind a like rages across the world, new alliances will be formed, loyalties will be questioned, destinies will be seen, and only one can emerge victorious!
Any feedback is always appreciated (even negative; which is just constructive to the writing process). So, tell me, where do you guys think they'll go with the sequel?
