For those of you who don't follow Marvel Event's that closely...
Annihilation is the story of 4 unlikely heroes/villains who decide to take a stand and fight for a universe that doesn't even know it's in danger.
The story begins as Annihilus (The Bad Guy) and his armies decide to crossover from the Negative Zone and rage war against our realm. He attacks very strategically, beginning by taking out Xandar, home planet of Nova Corps (Marvel's Green Lantern Corps) and the Kyln Prison. The plan was to kill and destroy absolutely everything and everyone but one dude survived. A human named Richard Rider. Now the last member of what was an intergalactic police force, he becomes one with the Xandarian Worldmind, an Artificial Intelligence that carries the life culture, thoughts and memories of the now fallen Xandar not to mention all Nova Corps power and data gathered from across the universe.
The destruction of the Kyln prison releases two incredibly powerful beings. Aegis, Lady of Sorrows and Tenebrous of the Darkness. Now free, they seek revenge on their old friend Galactus who imprisoned them in the first place.
The Skrulls take the biggest hit and loose most of their homeworlds as the Annihilation wave nearly takes them out. Super Skrull goes on a solo never to return mission in attempt to save his race.
Next on the hit list is the Kree empire. Their only hope is the Kree known as Ronan the Accuser.
By this time Nova mentored by Drax the Destroyer puts together a team to stop the Invasion before it goes any further while the Silver Surfer does everything in his power to stop Annihilus from getting his hands on the Power Cosmic and the "Aegis / Tenebrous" reign of terror.

I think this could make an incredible movie. Mind you if I was in charge at Marvel Studios, I would put out a couple space movies before this but it has a lot of potential. For Example...
Action - It's a bloody war with superpowers... How can there not be action!!!
Comedy - Richard Rider has to get used to Worldmind "literally" having a voice of his own... Drax can't get rid of this weird little girl called Cammi
Suspense - Too many characters, too many motives...
Romance - that's enough people now check out my cast.
The Main Cast:
Never really saw Crawford as Captain A but he would make the perfect Nova...
I find he looks perfect for the part... not to mention he's a great actor and would attract a huge fan base... (always need at least one Class A actor per casting)
Joaquin can play stuck up and intimidating, He did that in "Gladiator". Some people might want someone bigger but not everyone is tall, muscular and good at acting... Sometimes you gotta choose.
I don't think this match up will ever change... Unless marvel cast's someone different.
The Ultimate Alliance: Salman Khan is such a star in the Bollywood / Hindi movie industry one of my all time favorites starring him is "Wanted/2009".
She sings, she acts, if you don't know her, your 10 year old daughter probably does... look her up on Imdb for more info.
Everyone should know this guy. One Tree Hill's main character for like 6 seasons?
I always cast multicultural when the characters are alien... don't ask why. I know her from "The Game Plan/2007", you might know her from "Without a Trace"
She's already gone bald and is totally kicking ass on "The Mentalist"
Another popular actress to add to the list. I'll admit, I could have cast someone else but I like Diaz.
I find Logan to be a really talented actor, from the O.C to Traveler to Brooklyn's Finest and Dark Blue.
Super Skrull's sidekick. I guess she'll be done in CGI but either way the voice matches.
I needed someone I knew could own the screen when on and I thought Nathan Petrelli is a lot like Galactus in this story. Never really comes off as a good guy yet still does what's needed of him to save the world.
They come to bring the Pain: While doing my research I found the best villains are always older. I didn't need people in sixties though. I need actors who could fight and fright...
this time I chose size and looks over just plain acting skills.
Micheal is supposed to be a better actor than Kane that's why he's ravenous and not the other way around.
See what I mean? great villain but not so young. Bill Duke is a beast.
You should know her from the Harry Potter Franchise. When reading the graphic novels I always saw death as a little girl...
I needed someone with a not too deep voice and bingo. He was awesome on "Prison Break"
