Well, I did a BROTHER VOODOO fancast last time so I thought I would
keep the horror theme going with this fancast of MARVEL’S own
monster menagerie, THE LEGION OF MONSTERS:
GHOST RIDER, MORBIUS, SATANA, WEREWOLF BY NIGHT,
MAN-THING, LILITH DRAKE, FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER, THE
LIVING MUMMY, SIMON GARTH-ZOMBIE and MANPHIBIAN!
I know I’m a grown man but, Man, I JUST LUVS ME SUM MONSTERS!
THEIR ORIGIN
The group, consisting of four, GHOST RIDER, MAN-THING, MORBIUS
and WEREWOLF BY NIGHT, came together by happenchance when a
mountain suddenly appeared near L.A. in the middle of nowhere which
triggered a huge earthquake. GHOST RIDER was passing through,
MORBIUS was trying to feed off WEREWOLF BY NIGHT’S blood and
MAN-THING was terrorizing a fisherman.
The quartet were drawn by the mountain and they meet a mystical being
known as STARSEED. Though STARSEED was a benevolent entity, both
WEREWOLF BY NIGHT and MORBIUS, overcome by their monstrous
hungers attacked it, GHOST RIDER and MAN-THING attempted to
intervene but STARSEED was unable to overcome his fear of
MAN-THING and suffered severe burns at MAN-THING’S touch. The
dying STARSEED attempted to cure the Legion of their monstrous forms
(They actually each turned human for a brief moment.) but he was too
weak and died a few minutes later.
Tired of fighting and disappointed in their actions the team split up.
Though they hardly ever acknowledged their self as a team in the first
place, the team remains active but on their own since that time. Since
then MANPHIBIAN, N’KANTU--THE LIVING MUMMY, SATANA HELLSTROM, SIMON GARTH—
ZOMBIE, LILITH DRAKE and FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER, have joined the ranks
of this non-team.
If I made this movie I would incorporate all these characters into the
LEGION OF MONSTERS and weave them all together into a story of
an enemy that would take all of their talents working in concert to defeat,
a powerful group of REALLY evil monster baddies in league with the
most vile monster of them all, “DRACULA”!
“I decided to include the lyrics to another one of my heavy metal songs
I recorded with a metal band I used to play with. We only recorded four
songs before we realized METAL was a dying breed and we never
finished the album. It’s a crying shame too ‘cause they were 4 pretty
bad ass sounding songs! The drummer was in a couple of other bands
but now he owns and drives an 18 wheeler. And I design and
manufacture audio speakers for my own company. Strange where life
takes ya! There’s a song in there somewhere!” Lol
“I will put the lyrics to a third song on my third fancast in this horror-
based trilogy of castings and then I will never force you to suffer through
anymore of my song lyrics, I PROMISE!!!”

I’m certain everybody knows who GHOST RIDER/JOHNNY BLAZE is
here so I won’t delve into him but to say that JOHNNY BLAZE has blond
hair not black, so I think Paul Walker is ideal for the slightly older
JOHNNY BLAZE. Walker is blond, can play a darker type of hero and he
just fits riding a tricked-out chopper motorbike. GHOST RIDER is the
group leader.
GHOST RIDER (JOHNNY BLAZE) – PAUL WALKER
SATANA is DAIMON HELLSTROM’S (HELLSTORM) sister but she
actually embraces her hellish side!
Kate has red hair and a devilish side that would fit SATANA perfectly!
SATANA HELLSTROM – KATE MARA
KATE is HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
Everybody knows who this character is!
BERNICIO was just born to play THE LIVING VAMPIRE!
MICHAEL MORBIUS – BERNICIO DEL TORO
LILITH is a vampire and the daughter of DRACULA but without his
weaknesses such as sunlight!
GENEVIEVE played a demon so she certainly can play DRACULA’S
DAUGHTER! (Can you believe it? JARED PADALECKI is married
to this babe…lucky BASTITCH!
LILITH DRAKE – GENEVIEVE CORTESE
JACK RUSSELL (JACOB RUSOFF) is a reluctant werewolf but lately
he’s been able to control it and change back and forth at will, so his
reluctance has been greatly declining.
CRAIG HORNER plays the tortured soul very well, in fact extremely
well! Just watch his pain on LEGEND OF THE SEEKER (I really love
that show!)! Plus he has this eerie feral quality about him.
WEREWOLF BY NIGHT (JACK RUSSELL) – CRAIG HORNER-CGI
Those who FEAR burn at the touch of the swamp creature, MAN-THING!
CONAN is 7 feet tall and a great physical actor! He would be downright
FRIGHTENING as “MANNY”!

If you don’t know who FRANKENSTEIN’S MONSTER is then you truly
FRIGHTEN “me”! lol
OWAIN YEOMAN was awesome on GENERATION KILL, with
ALEXANDER SKARSGARD, and is great every week on the huge HIT
CBS TV show, THE MENTALIST! He’s a tall 6’4” British-Welsh actor and
somehow I think he would own this part!
FRANKENSEIN’S MONSTER (ADAM) – OWAIN YEOMAN, 6’4”
N’KANTU was an ancient African chieftain and a powerful giant of a man
who was taken captive by brutal Egyptian soldiers, he and all his tribe,
and forced into slavery by the Pharaoh, ARAM-SET! He bid his time
while he planned for his revenge and the liberating of his people and
kept their spirits up with words of hope. Before long, he
was ready to shake off the shackles of slavery forever. He led a bloody
revolt against the armies of Aram-Set, personally slaying the Pharaoh
with a thrust from his spear.
He entered the temple of Aram-Set where he confronted Nephrus, the
royal wizard. Nephrus was prepared for N'Kantu and splashed him
with a chemical agent that caused immediate paralysis of N'Kantu's
limbs. He brought him down to a private dungeon laboratory where he
bound him with linen, and injected him with a special fluid. This fluid
granted N’Kantu immortality, but at the price of his mobility. Nephrus
sealed him inside of a sarcophagus, promising that he would suffer as a
Living Mummy for all eternity. Moments after entombing N'Kantu, a
great earthquake struck and devastated the temple, killing Nephrus
and burying N'Kantu for centuries. Trapped and unable to move,
N’Kantu gradually went insane as the centuries slowly passed.
Several years ago, the fluid that kept the Mummy immobile began to
wear off, and the crazed N'Kantu clawed his way to freedom. He
began terrorizing the streets of Cairo until he tore-up a power pole
to fight back with and was electrocuted till he seemed dead. He was
shipped in a crate to a museum in New York city. At the museum, the
Living Mummy revived once again, and broke free of the packing
crate that he had been shipped in. He left the museum and began
wandering the streets of Manhattan. He wanders the land still!
N’KANTU is super-powered, with immense strength, durability and
Stamina although his muscles are a bit stiff from such prolonged
inactivity. The alchemical formula has negated N'Kantu's need for
food, water, or air. He can withstand the rigors of a vacuum
environment, such as being buried underground or under the water.
Presumably, he could also survive in outer space for an indefinite
period of time. He can barely talk though because of how dry his throat
is!
RICK FOX is a 6’7” former basketball star turned actor
(DOLLHOUSE, OZ). He just epitomizes the handsome giant African
chieftain!
LIVING MUMMY (N’KANTU) – RICK FOX-CGI, 6’7”
SIMON GARTH was a highly successful businessman and well known
public figure who was notorious for treating his employees ruthlessly.
Garth's gardener, Gyps, vowed to get revenge upon his employer for his
years of mistreatment and recent firing. Kidnapping Garth, Gyps
stabbed him to death with a pair of garden shears in the Bayous near
New Orleans. Gyps was not satisfied by Garth's relatively quick death,
however, and so he turned the corpse over to a nearby voodoo cult and
forced the voodooienne (voodoo queen) Layla to turn Garth into a zombie.
Layla, who also happened to be Garth's secretary, called upon
DAMBALLAH, the serpent god who is the most powerful of the Loa
(the gods of voodoo), and with the aid of matching talismans resurrected
the corpse of her former employer as a mindless zombie. One of the two
amulets was placed around Garth's neck; the other was given to Gyps.
Using the amulet, Gyps could control the Zombie.
Finally, when Gyps tried to force Garth to kidnap his own daughter, a
remaining portion of the spirit of the man he once was enabled the Zombie
to resist his master despite the amulet, and Garth killed him. THE
ZOMBIE still walks the earth.
He possesses various supernatural abilities from the Loa, Voodoo spirits,
which inhabited and reanimated his body after his physical death. He
has superhuman strength, stamina and regenerative powers and retains
some of his spirit which makes him a little different than other zombies.
This gives him a bit of a mind of his own, just a tiny bit! Lol
BRIAN STEELE has played so many monsters in movies it’s hard to keep
track (PREDATORS, TERMINATOR SALVATION, HELLBOY I &
II, RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, THE “UNDERWORLD”
TRILOGY, and on & on…)
ZOMBIE (SIMON GARTH) – BRIAN STEELE, 6’6”
The creature known only as MANPHIBIAN was born on an unknown
alien world over a thousand years ago. A member of his species attacked
Manphibian, murdering his mate in the process. The alien fled from his
home world, and Manphibian pursued him across several star systems
in the hopes of exacting revenge. He eventually chased him to the planet
Earth where both aliens found themselves trapped underground for a
millennium.
Years passed, and in that time an industrialist built an oil refinery
over-top the ground where the Manphibian laid buried. Persistent
drilling in the shaft awakened the two aliens, and they climbed their
way to the surface. The rogue alien continued to satisfy his murderous
ways and attacked the industrialist’s wife dragging her underwater.
Manphibian battled his old adversary and rescued the wife, but the
incident earned him the attention of the industrialist who mobilized an
attack helicopter and fired several missiles at the Manphibian. The
missiles rained down destroying the shaft but MANPHIBIAN was able
to escape during the chaos. Manphibian was not the only creature to
survive the carnage however. The alien who murdered his mate was
still at large, and Manphibian is still out there hunting for him!
MANPHIBIAN was an accomplished scientist on his home world. He
has super strength, is amphibious, has an extremely long lifespan and
razor-sharp talons on each finger!
DEREK has played almost as many movie monsters as BRIAN STEELE
(PREDATORS, FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009), THE HILLS HAVE EYES
II, etc.)
MANPHIBIAN – DEREK MEARS, 6’6”
MAIN VILLAIN:
Again if you don’t know this character then I’m really, REALLY
FRIGHTENED!
TEABAG@ had JIM as DRACULA in his wonderful “TOMB OF
DRACULA” fancast, CAVIEZEL fits DRACULA perfectly!
