20th Century Fox will move Fantastic Four's debut to July 8, a week later than planned, to avoid going head-to-head with Steven Spielberg's remake of War of the Worlds. The Tom Cruise sci fi actioner now occupies the coveted Fourth of July spot and will debut June 29.

FF is now debuting opposite Bewitched (starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell) and Kate Hudson's supernatural thriller The Skeleton Key.
