According to Louisianaentertainment.gov, a website that provides job listings and contact information for movies filming in Louisiana, Michael B. Jordan will star in the Fantastic Four reboot. The upcoming reboot has been recently confirmed to be filmed in Louisiana, and the website has the film listed with the following description, "Fox feature film Fantastic Four starring Michael B. Jordan will shoot February 10th in Baton Rouge. Please send resumes to [email protected]." This is not a 100% confirmation, but it does add more evidence to the rumor. No other cast members were mentioned in the listing.

I'm calling bs on this and the report yesterday. Both have different (filming) start-dates.

Well actually this one sounds more-likely to be bs - why would they only mention Jordan? It's either Fox hasn't even cast anyone else or this is bogus.

WTF. Needs to be a white dude.

Some characters you just don't [frick] with their appearance.

His white hot sister is Invisible Woman.

I feel bad for Michael Chiklis. I just re-watched The Shield and I feel that he absolutely deserves a second chance as The Thing (he wasn't even bad).

I have no doubt that he could play Johnny Storm but it's called niche casting, I'd love to see him in the MCU or as another superhero. Maybe as Cyborg but we need to pay homage to the comics

I don't care who they cast, I won't be wasting my hard earned cash on anything that fox puts out comic book movie wise.

It doesn't matter who they cast, it matters what's at the core of this movie. If they make it a grim, brooding, "realistic" thing just to match X-Men (where that tone makes sense) they've broken Fantastic Four beyond repairing by casting carbon copies of the comic book characters.

SAVING an FF movie is all about getting the sense of adventure, of pro-science awe and wonder, of capturing the essence of what it means to be a family. All those things should be about a bajillion pegs above this on everyone's list of priorities.

But it's not, because comic book fans are more about the cosplay and 1:1 representations of that thing they saw in a comic. It's not like I'm pretending otherwise. But yah, two cents right there.

@MexicanSuperman

Yo bro! And yeah man I just finished watching the Broncos game! Yesterday's game with the Patriots and Colts was crazy they came so close, I hate the patriots man. I'm a Redskins fan (I know...I know gotta represent the DMV *baltimore a strong second*) but I'm looking forward to next season.

I feel like if we stop talking about this, Fox will forget about it and the rights will revert. We can only hope.

He's near perfect for the job, he's gonna kill it as Johnny Storm if this movie gets made (Hope it doesn't and we get F4 in the MCU)

Just cuz he's black doesn't mean his sister will be too. I guess people have never heard of adoption.
