conanmovieblog.com has updated their gallery with two better quality images that were originally featured in this months issue of Empire, as well as a "on the set image" of Conan of a village full of warriors.
Also the conanmovieblog.com website has also stated that SDCC will not feature Conan because "Lionsgate apparently not being at Comic-Con (as apparently erroneously reported in Empire)"

On another note we have seen dozens of images of Jason Momoa as Conan, yet none of the supporting cast members, official or on the set. We still have no idea what Tamara (Rachel Nichols), Khalar Singh (Stephen Lang), Marique (Rose McGowan), Corin (Ron Perlman), and Ukafa (Bob Sapp) looks like.

So look below at two new(ish) images of Conan as well as a set picture.

The images look like something from Frazetta or out of the Darkhorse run of Conan. Style-isticly it looks par for the course. Gonna need a trailer for sure. And the damn movie better be R for Radically violent.

I've realized over time most movies arent that good
typically it's hard to get the right formula. That's why
it's such a big deal when it happens. With that begin said this movie seems like it'll be fine not good
but arnold's conan wasnt good to me either.

The bar isnt set that high so this movie should be fine
they probally should've shot for straight to dvd.
I'll watch it just not opening weekend...I'll wait a few weeks and catch it for 5bucks or the wal-mart bin.

Still a surfer geek, what a sin that they chose such a great character to f**k up.

The way I understood it that this will be an origin film, like the the original film, but that Conan, the way I envisioned him when I read the books as a teenager, WAS lean, with the "surfer geek" type of body. He doesn't become heavily muscled (Arnie) until later on in the series, throughout his many adventures. It MAY totally suck, but I'm leaning towards it will at least be on par with the original...so long as the soundtrack is as epic, the violence is ULTRA brutal, and it HAS to have nudity and sex...this IS Conan after all. Gotta be a hard R. If not, then I refuse to watch it until it comes to cable. Not even going to be worth my time.

Preacher@ The problem with the idea that this is an origin film is that many of the most iconic stories take place while Conan is young and he is still described in the text as massive. Take the Tower of the Elephant for example where Conan is age 17 or Rogues in the House where he is age 19.
