New FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD Image Reunites Newt With An Old Friend

With Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald set to focus on the rivalry between Albus Dumbledore and the villainous magician the sequel is named after, we don't really know what role Eddie Redmayne's magizoologist will end up playing in the J.K. Rowling penned release. However, a new image shows the character hanging around Paris with a fan-favourite familiar face close behind.

We are, of course, talking about Jacob Kowalski, the Muggle who had his mind wiped at the end of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. That's clearly changed, though, and considering the fact the dynamic between these two was so great, it should be fun getting to see them together again.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is set to be released on November 16th, 2018. The first instalment earned $814 million at the worldwide box office, so while this franchise isn't quite matching the Harry Potter movies, there's no reason to think this story won't continue being told over multiple movies. What do you guys think of this new image? Let us know your thoughts down below.

Just need Newt to speak up a little bit this time around.

I've made a terrible realization.

When I was 13, Phantom Menace came out. Shortly after Harry Potter 1 came out. People kept telling me to watch Harry Potter and I laughed. Pfffft, an 11 year old with a wand, or Darth Maul? No thanks, I'll stick with Star Wars.

Now at 32, after Episode 8, I'm now looking forward to mediocre Harry Potter spinoffs more than the next star wars movie.

Was Newt supposed to have aspergers? He couldn't look anyone in the face when they spoke. It was always these awkward side glances
