As the release date of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey(14 December) is getting closer it seems that the promotional campaign is kicking into full gear now, at least if one considers that just today samples for all tracks of the soundtrack's special edition (2CDs) have been released.
Personally, I think there is much to be happy about and thankful for, as the soundtrack seems not only to well integrate Tolkien's songs into Peter Jackson's version of Middle Earth but, apart from some parts, it also does not sound too repetitive of what we have come to know from Howard Shore's work on The Lord of the Rings. But what do you guys think? Does this sound too familiar and boring or is this definitely something we can look forward to?
