UPDATE: First Official PAN Stills Reveal Hugh Jackman As 'Blackbeard'
Entertainment Weekly have posted the first few official images from Joe Wright's upcoming take on the origins of Peter Pan. In them we see young Peter himself (Levi Miller) alongside the villain of the piece; Blackbeard the pirate, who's played by Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman.
Hugh Jackman is playing a villainous pirate in Joe Wright's Pan, but it's not Captain Hook. The future nemesis of Peter Pan will actually be played by Garrett Hedlund and when we meet him he'll apparently be a good guy -- a "dashing Indiana Jones-like figure" according to EW. The site also reveal that this story will deal with Blackbeard and his men "kidnapping young wartime orphans", Peter among them.
