With G.I. Joe Retaliation being pushed back for 3D conversion anticipation for the film continues to rise. Hasbro sent Logan Lubera to New Orleans to attend G.I. Joe Con. Lubera helped out on the film and moderated a panel at the con for it. Although they did not address the films pushed back release date a number of other topis were touched on including Luber's favorite scene, Terry Crews being up for the role of Roadblock, and Bruce Willis. Check out the bullets from the Con's panel courtesy of GeneralJoes on twitter.

-Their main goal was to make GI Joe more realistic. Focus on toy-centric vehicles and weapons.

-Logan Lubera designed the Battle Kata weapons system used in the film and toy line.

-Each character has their own unique weapons. Cobra and Joes do not share weapon companies or types.

-Jinx mountain combat uniform is based on Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon.

-Dwayne Johnson is a huge GI Joe fan, very proud of his role. They did audition Terry Crewes as well.

-Logan Lubera's favorite scene involved Rza in a dojo and he blocked a shot that was filmed for a potential scene.

-Joe also has a Rza story, talking about actor's intensity and focus on the set

-Bruce Willis was a scene stealer, and ad libbed a lot of his lines. Loved being involved in the film.

G.I. Joe Retaliation stars D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park, Adrianne Palicki, Jonathan Pryce, RZA, Ray Stevenson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, and will be released on March 29, 2013.

Wasn't this supposed to come out this weekend before the studio decided that "it needs to be in 3D"?

[frick] this movie what a colossal joke, I'm quite sure people would rather see it now than wait an extra 10 months so we can see it in 3D which sucks anyway [frick] those glasses.

So they talked about the film but took no questions...either they think theyre being slick bout keeping things under wraps or they are just embarassed bout the delay and dont wanna hear people questioning it

They took no questions about the delay. They have made the official statement and that's the end of that.

Don't diss Magic Mike. It's been getting some pretty good reviews so far. The whole love story that was shown in the trailer is hardly in the movie at all from what I understand.

I'll probably rent it just because Olivia Munn is topless in it.

Terry Crews woulda actually made a better Roadblock. I love the Rock but they keep casting him for african american roles...he's like 1/4 black.

I heard them talking about him playing Luke Cage too, wtf get a dark skinned dude already

@Lert

"What a WAIST of time?"

What? your elementary school years? When you should have learned to spell "waste?"

It's too much fun and way too easy to bust out haters and trolls for their obvious lack of any sort of applicable knowledge of the language they use to hate and troll.

Learn to read, write, and spell if you want anyone whatsoever to take anything you post to be anything more than idiotic gesticulations of a third grade dipshit. Grow up, move out of your parents' house, and gain at least a tenuous grasp on the language you choose to use to troll forums.

If you want to have your opinion taken seriously, my advice would be to learn how to spell that opinion.

Wow........ And hear I thought this movie came out already until just not.........

I wasn't planning on seeing it in theaters nor was I excited for it. The first one sucked any kind of excitement for me them moment I saw who was playing Duke and how Snake-Eyes looked and then after hearing and seeing how bad it was the months after it came out. But I have to say that Bruce Willis, Snake-Eyes, Cobra Commander and trailer gave me some hope that I could sit down on my couch and possibly enjoy the movie for being decent.

Now...... It seems like those very few bright spots couldn't even make this movie enjoyable.

@riseofLOGANX36 "...it's still ganna be good just like the first one." How the hell was the first one good?

I am not hating on the moving like others, but I hate the first one, because it was a terrible film and an even worse CBM. Sure Snake-Eyes was cool (Outside of his costume), but that wasn't even close to saving the movie.

My local cinema are still advertising this film as "Coming Soon"

I completely understand after watching The Avengers dominate they felt the need to re-tool this film.Just being another cartoon/comic based film doesn't cut it anymore. You have to make it into a epic, not just another movie. It's now a standard set for cb related material

@Bark4Soul: The Rock is Half Black..Rocky Johnson Is All African American.I Want To Agree About Getting A Darker Luke Cage....But I Also Want Luke To Be Done Properly. After Seeing The Rock In Faster I Know He Can Do It.But After Seeing Micheal Jai White In Never Back Down 2 I'm Split. But The Black Guy Who Was In Undefeated 3 youtube the dude is the perfect look and build completely. But i doubt they would cast him but he would be perfect

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR INCORRECT HEADLINE! Your headline says the movie was pushed back to May?? Then in the article it says it was pushed back to March (was in the correct date)

So, let me get this straight, no hot Sienna Miller as Baroness (in fact no Baroness at all), no main characters except Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, no Duke, no Shipwreck....how is this G.I. Joe again? I seriously don't get it. This is going to be one LAME movie. Sorry. I MAY see it when it comes out On Demand and even then IF there's nothing better to watch. What the heck are the producers thinking here?
