This viral video is making the rounds and hopeful fans are digging it, while skeptical fans are bummed about the choppy animation, which they said isn't doing the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra film any favors.

I like that studios keep putting out these viral videos--and this was a fun concept--but the effects are kinda bunk, which makes me doubtful about the movie.

Everything I've seen thus far isn't doing them any favors trying to pull me into the theater to see this...

They should just let everyone know that at some point Scarlet and Baroness wrestle and get all hot and wet and start making out - that'll get me in the theater to see it.

I love SkateBoarding! it would have been much cooler if it were the old school blue with a silver faceplate Cobra Commander shouting COBRAAAAA!!!! as he hits big air.

im with Lee. i think next week some of yall gonna be either not posting GI Joe comments/bashes anymore or you will be eating your own words. I am not saying this is gonna be the best ever, but its gonna be better than most of you may feel...expect for you Lee...you like already slept with the movie itself. cant visualize you too gettin it on but im glad u loved it..lol

You see turd, the movie looks like shit. Now why would i spend 10$ on the off chance that it might not suck. So next week, and the week after that, and the week after that, and so on till the movie gets out on dvd, and someone gives it to me cause i'm not spending 10$ let alone 20$ on the damn DVD, and until i get to see it, i'm still gonna say it looks like shit. It would be the same as trying to sell me a musical. I hate musicals no matter how many naked chics run around in every scene. i still to this day haven't seen Drangonball Evolution and i know for a fact that it's utter shit. Why? Cause when an ACTION film's trailers look like shit, the possibility of the studio hiring chimps as producers, who actually put their worst scenes in the trailers, is very very slim. So no matter what kind of review comes out from "almost" anybody, i'm still not gonna pay to see it. That "almost" there would be for the exception of a fellow nay-sayer that holds monumental credibility in my eyes.

I hold no expectations for this movie at all. I have to agree with Shaman, what I've seen... looks like shit, but... as a Joe fan from back in the day, I will forfeit my $8 bucks(that is what a theater ticket in Kentucky costs) to be ultimately sure.

Oh, and Shaman, allow me to be the one to enlighten you, or just as likely, confirm your feelings :)

Myth- You have the gig!!! In fact, i'd give it both to you and Roar. If both of you, and i mean BOTH, come out of the theaters eager to write an outstanding out of the blue review saying that it's the very best action cartoon adapted film ever made... i'll stopr nay saying and rent it ;) And if IonParalax ever comes back for a review of it, his opinion would matter greatly also!!!

That would make you go up against Transformers, TMNT and Masters of the Universe (shit but classic shit).

I wouldn't expect the CGI to be amazing on a viral video anyway. It's an over-glorified commercial.
The movie, on the other hand, will definitely have better CGI than this...at least by a little bit.
Not to say that better CGI means it'll be a good movie. We'll have to see it before we can say that.
