This is FAIL the moment they signed a rapper (or any other "musician") to the cast. Let actors ACT and rappers RAP, please, DO NOT mix the two.

@DeathAdder: The success of movies with Will Smith, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, Jamie Foxx, Ice Cube, Lauryn Hill, Tyrese, or even Ludacris's supporting roles like Crush or Hustle and Flow say otherwise.

"99.999999999% of the time when a rapper, or wrestler or talentless wooden actor is cast, said movie ends up sucking."-DeathAdder

But you cream your pants over Jason Momoa and soon to be forgotten shit-fest that is Conan 3D. GI JOE should be your most anticipated movie with taste like that lol.

At least they have a geek on board.

I view Flint as being mid-30's early 40's. This guy does look too young. On top of that you have Blind Master played by a rapper? They're really going out and building up a great cast. I will reserve further criticism until I see them in a trailer or in the movie because Lord knows I was wrong about X-Men: 1st Class.

The problem I had with the first movie wasn't the movie itself, but the people filling the roles of the Joes. It was not believeable at all. Why did Duke have a wigger accent? And one of the Wayan brothers as an action star. No way! The only Joe they managed to generally get right was Snake Eyes.

I am excited about the Rock being in the movie, but Roadblock has always been a role fit more for Terry Crews or Ving Rhames. The Rock is more suited for a revamped Bazooka, Footloose, Dusty, or Rock 'n Roll. All of these have a humorous side that The Rock could fit perfectly.

Would love to see a cameo by Sgt Slaughter and have him training some new Maruaders.
