Edward James Olmos Cast in The Green Hornet

The scarred "Battlestar Galactica" Admiral will bring some class (sorry Nic!) to Micheal Gondry's "The Green Hornet."

I spoke with actor Edward James Olmos yesterday at Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con. Among discussing his past ("Blade Runner") and present ("Battlestar Galactica" and the upcoming TV film). He said that he will be joining Michel Gondry's "The Green Hornet."

"I'm on my way to do 'The Green Hornet,'" Olmos told me. "It'll be a lot of fun with Seth [Rogen], Nicolas Cage, and Cameron Diaz."

There's no word yet on what role he might play. The studio announced on Friday that Jay Chou will play Kato in the July 9, 2010 release. Michel Gondry direct.

It's unfortunate that Mr. Olmos decided to sign on to this project. Even with his performace power attached to this film, I still predict 'EPIC SUCK' - it has Seth Rogen in the lead for god's sake!

Everyones all mad that Seth Rogen is on the film, you should be mad that [frick]en Nicholas Cage is in the movie. He is the dullest actor ever and most of his movies suck. He better not ruin Kick Ass. But on a happier note this movie is getting a lot of big name actors, i guess they must be doing something right.

You can always tell the people that think Nic Cage's career began with Con Air! The guy is a great actor..when he want's to be. Lately he has made an awful lot of shite and phoned in his performances. But i think Kick Ass will see him back on form.

Everyone i think are young and only know of movies he made in the last 8 years.

I know he's done good movies in the past but lately they've sucked. Any yes LEE Con Air is the shit.

Cage is probably the bad guy and Diaz is probably the love interest.

I think Green Hornet is going to be awesome as well

Has anyone seen Knowing with Nic Cage? What a crap movie that was. Alien angels...WHAT!

Matchstick Men is still one of my favorite Nic Cage flicks. I wish him and Sam Rockwell would do another movie together.

@ longbowhunter yeah i know what you mean, knowing was crap. the best scene was the lost rip off scene with the downed airplane but still the whole movie i thought it was angels vs demons, god vs the devil, good vs evil not bloody sci fi (if you'd even call it that).

on a more relevant note im hoping green hornet is good and it sounds like it might be.
